I keep getting emails about recording a video for my profile - has anyone done that?
I wonder if it really boosts your chances of getting picked for a study

can't remember it being a major factor when I did work for them. They seemed to care a LOT more about linking a 'work' email address in my profile

Same here, only 2 but they all count! I've still never had a project referral payout though, mine are always $19 for a network referral.

I've just signed up for Respondent (trying to broaden my earnings!) and noticed this. I don't have a work email - can I just put my Gmail or Yahoo mail address in? (I mean, I know I could, but is it a good idea or will I just be looked upon as a scammer?!)

I don’t see any major problem with it - it all depends on what the researcher sees when choosing the candidates I guess but I doubt the decision is made on how valuable a work email address is!

Cheers Jon, I think I will then. I've also realised I should give my LinkedIn profile a little bit of care and attention - well, maybe expand it beyond my name!

I don’t really get why they ask for the work email to be it’s own domain. It doesn’t mean you would be any less of a respondent just because you use a gmail account!

I'm gonna be like the annoying kid who keeps putting up his arm in class, but does anyone know roughly how long it usually takes to get accepted or rejected for projects?

I have 4 screeners completed (3 last week, 1 today), but nothing seems to be happening so far.

It varies. Sometimes for me it’s been same day and others it can be a few days

I registered in April and looking at my project list I can see 105 results, although I'm pretty sure I applied for more... Anyway - I've only been offered 4 studies so far, but I guess it depends on your profile / demographics. I haven't got a work email address and I don't use Linked in so that's not helping. I haven't done that personal video introduction either

The studies I have done with them were interesting and very professional, I wish I got accepted more often!

Yeah the platform works very well when you get accepted for studies and on the whole I think it's far ahead of the likes of TestingTime etc.
