Hey guys,

Thought I would a diary on here to track my progress, especially since I'm working on rebuilding money that I recently lost.

I'm going to start updating the diary from 01/08/2020 and try to track my earnings each month.

Here's a list of what I am using at the moment to earn.

  • Lionbridge Ad Rating
  • Neevo
  • Operador Chat
  • Roamler
  • BeMyEye
  • Shepper
  • SmartSpotter
  • Prolific
  • Beelivery
  • Etsy
  • eBay
  • IntelliZoom
  • Populus Live (will be deleting after cash out)
I think that's everything I'm doing at the moment. Etsy and eBay I am selling personalised unframed pictures, I'm trying to set up something passive and sustainable whilst doing other things. I'm also hoping to start delivering for Just Eat very soon. I help my friend move some furniture every couple of weeks too so I will include that income too. And I'm signed up to an agency but I'm not getting any work through them at the moment, due to Covid-19 I think.

In August I hope to make at least £1,200. Let's see how it goes! :)

Am Interested to see how much you earn in August on Just Eat compared to September when all the students go back to uni!

I keep getting carried away making new designs for my shop when I should be working on Neevo and Operador! o_O I do enjoy it though. My page on Etsy has been open a few weeks now and I've had 12 sales, £104 in sales so far. Fees are a bit expensive though and I'm paying $1 a day to advertise but that seems to work.

once you start creating your own content (a shop, blog, website etc.) it's hard to dance to someone elses tune ;)

By the way I pretty much have close to £0 in my bank right now. Hoping by the end of August I will have £1,500 in my savings. Just putting that here to give me some motivation.

@rich110991, excellent stuff.

May I ask, how did you make the images for your printables?
Thank you. Basically there’s a site where you buy the images of the wellies from, lots of people are doing the same thing but then it’s up to you how you put the picture together so you can kind of make it your own. I’m working on a football version with football shirts which I am designing myself from scratch :)

That sounds cool. From the few YouTube videos I've seen, they seem to suggest using Canva or a similar package.

Which software will you use to make your football shirts design?

Etsy seems like a low barrier to entry, maybe the tough part is finding profitable niches.

I haven’t heard of Canva. I’m using GIMP it’s a free alternative to Photoshop but it does the job. I actually downloaded Photoshop but it was really slow on my Mac for some reason compared to GIMP so I thought it’s not worth paying for it. The football one is nearly finished to be fair I’ve done the shirts but I just need to make like a baby sized alternative too now.

Etsy’s been really good to be fair. My first sale was on the 5th July so it’s been 3 weeks and I’ve had £110 in sales. Really pleased. I just wish I could leave the money in there to build up but you have to withdraw it, the longest option is monthly pay so I’ve gone with that but like I say I wish I could just leave it there to grow.

Well day one is going to be an easy one to summarise :p

I’ve done my 20 Lionbridge ads for $14. 20 messages on Operador. Had 2 orders on Etsy for £6.99 each and I’m in the middle of a 12 hour shift aha. Oh I did about 10 transcription tasks on Neevo for $1.70.

It’s packing in a warehouse. 6:30pm-6:30am 4 days on 4 days off. Losing the will to live at this precise moment aha but it’s £140 a day before tax.

Good luck with it. Are you allowed to listen to music while you work?
