Just ordered my second appliances from Ao.com. I ordered online, and declined for them to take my old appliance away like I did a year ago with a different appliance as they would have charged me £20. Then when they rang me back to confirm the order, they informed me that I could have the old appliance taken away for free. Interestingly, this is the same thing they did with my last order with them?
So, my advice would be...if you order from Ao online, don't tick for them to take your old appliance away when you place the order, but wait for them to ring you about delivery details, and expect them to offer to take away the old appliance for free. It would seem that they make money from selling and trading in your old appliance or from scrap so it is worth their while taking your old appliances away, but you can save yourself a £20 additional fee.
I also will earn cashback from using Topcashback, and they are currently listing Black Friday deals.
