Recently I've signed up to a few money-making apps like BeMyEye, Roamler etc. They have some mystery shopping tasks where you have to purchase a product online or in-store and do a review on them. You get paid a fee for completing the task and they also reimburse you for making the product purchase.

I don't think I will earn over £1000, but let's say I do, does the reimbursement money I get for making the product purchases count as my earnings?

I wouldn’t have thought so as it’s not profit so you only need a declare the fee you get paid
