Hey everyone,

Just wondering does anyone know if there are any restrictions on selling drawings/pictures/paintings I've done if the item has branding on it? So if I was to paint a picture of a boat or anything similar really it would have that companies branding on it so people would know what it was, is there anything I could come up against with that?

Personally I wouldn’t have thought so (though I haven’t checked!)

If you drew a picture for someone of their favourite f1 car or rally car which both would have branding on it I can’t see those brands being bothered the same way shops appear in the background of photos that are sold for money

I do portrait drawings as a hobby and have been asked multiple times if i could draw something for someone but they always assume it to be free or scoff at the idea of £10 or so.

Do you have any idea for pricing?

My work is usually on A4 and take a good 10-15 hours to do.

You should drop @Ar_ a message as she does portrait drawings via Twitter for their profile pic or whatever and people pay!
