Hi there,

I'm new here :D . I was wondering if anyone here is working with Sensee? I am due to start my 6 weeks training in May which I'm looking forward to but would love hear from any others who are already working for them or have applied.

Hi Amanda (and welcome)

Could you tell us a bit about sensee

What is the opportunity? How much do they pay and what is the work you have to do for them?

It's a similar company to Arise - the difference being that I am employed. Call centre type work but from home. Not sure if I can say who I will be contracted to, as on other sites I have been on no one seems to be allowed to say. Although a quick google or a look at their facebook page will prob tell you lol. Pay depends on the contract you are assigned to. You are paid per hour not per call which is great. The training is full time and also paid. I don't really know much more about it as I haven't started my training yet.

You can apply online via their website, if you pass this stage you will be invited to a Telephone Interview and if you are successful in the interview you will be invited for a 3-4 hour web assessment which will include another interview via webcam.

Would be great to hear from any others who currently work for them.

Aha

I see you are talking about

You will need to provide a quiet and secluded home office equipped with a dedicated telephone line, a dedicated wired broadband connection, a dedicated to work PC (desktop) and a telephone handset with headset, all meeting our required specifications.

'wired broadband connection' doubt they would be able to confirm that - Prob just checking your Internet is of 'good quality'

Regarding the phone & headset. They seem to put these requirements on every job they list

This looks good.

The pay isn't great - but it's working from home and evenings so no childcare or travel costs. Increases the pay by 150% or something.

But it would limit the other evening jobs.

Anyone know anything about the CRB check? How much it costs and how long it takes? I had one done a few years back, paid for by my employer tho.

I applied and have been rejected - not suitable.

Even though I have worked from home for 7 years, prior to that have over 5 years customer service experience for 2 top energy companies, am available to work whatever hours, have a quiet workspace and am available to start immediately - I don't meet their criteria. Am at a bit of a loss tbh.

Then an online assessment event which includes an interview via webcam. (Oh maaaan)

I've been considering this today too but if DillyBloss got turned down I have no chance. I can work in the bedroom alone in the evening but I don't have a dedicated space and no separate phone line. The good part is that this is actually employed work (not self employed like most) and there's 28 days paid holiday BUT they keep the first weeks wages until you have worked for them for 3 months (it might be the first 2 weeks that they keep now actually) and there's 3 weeks full time training to get through too.

It looks like the phone line is just for the phone interview. After that I recon a mobile phone would be fine. The job doesn't involve being on the phone. You do all your interactions through the computer.
