To be fair, they need a lot more trust worth testers, they gain the trust by your rating which generally reflect how well you have done on the platform. And Testers also need to gain the trust of the platform. Because when you go further, some test case could involve using your own card to pay for something and they will pay you back on test case or bounces. It even can get involve giving out your card detail to the platform for the passive test. But, remember that this kind of test case could be half hour of your time but 25-50 dollars.
Brilliant!
Sounds very worthwhile doing.

I mostly focus on Test case. They really gets a lot of big clients this days. Also, if you willing to do any test case involving your own credit cards, bank accounts, money that always a lot of more payment.

Also if you live anywhere close to big city, the onsite test always pay good.

Good luck!

I am heading towards £200 a month with Utest now and I decided today to up my game in the new year. I've watched your posts about Utest and came back to see how you'd been doing lately. Very well apparently :) You're inspirational...

I’m actually thinking about doing this in January

How much time is it taking you to make £200 a month from?

Well, I'm still a bit slow really, I've only been doing it since about July, so it can take me a few hours a day or a couple in the evening depending on what it is. I get a lot of gaming stuff now though and I like to think that that's because of Money Shed. There's loads of them because I think there are testers that won't go near them for religious or moral reasons or lack of confidence, so you may want to jump in on those.

Money Shed introduced me to matched-betting, which introduced me to slots and things, which made me confident about testing them.

Then, a couple of months ago I was testing one where I had to use £10 of my own money and lose it (you get the money back via the test case payment usually). I did it wrong to start with so put another £10 in (of my own money effectively, so as not to lose the test-case payment). I tried really hard to lose the £10 but the money kept going up, and the more I tried to get to a zero-balance the higher it went and I stopped when I won £2.2k (I let the test case go and took the loss...). That was a fluke obviously but the point is - I've gone from never having placed a bet in my life to thinking nothing of testing slots and betting - all because I joined Money Shed.

That was a long answer to a simple question! I just wanted to thank you while I was here. None of this would have happened without this site (and Prolific is another one...)

I used to do well on this before I had kids - gold rating and everything . I loved it as my day job is software testing anyway! Ironically being on maternity leave meant I couldn't instantly accept invites!
Anyways, to be guaranteed payment, you have to choose ones with test cases/reviews as they pay a fixed amount but they go really quickly. I've had ones from $5 to $100. It's usually a high hourly rate! Though for the lower paying ones you have to factor in the time to learn the system first which could be quite high especially if they have lots of instruction files to read! If it's likely to be a regular project then you'll be quicker in subsequent runs.

Otherwise you have to hunt for bugs which again you have to be quick at as the good bugs get found immediately. If you don't find any, you don't get any money.

I agree - you have to be quick and I've learnt that starting work on bug-hunting immediately instead of 'getting round to it' is a lot more lucrative and I intend upping my game on that this year. I've reached the dizzy heights of a silver rating.

Decided to dip my toe in again and make good use of my post baby feeding times. Just completed a test case which took about 30 minutes for $7.50 but didn't realise I had to record a one-minute for each step. There were 14 steps. Ugh! Raised one issue though which I didn't expect considering I did it towards the end minutes of the cycle. Well I know to avoid this one next time!
