Hi everyone,

Hope you're all well.

I have heard that Pinecone Research is up there with the likes of Prolific and Populus.

Though, in the F&Q section it states that the only way to sign up is to go through a "referral" link I..E on an advertising banner on selected websites.

Does anyone know the websites where there is likely to be the referral banner?

Or, is it just luck of the draw when looking on the PR website?

Thanks!

David

I did try on both Safari and Chrome and still get the forbidden message. I actually did find a sign-up link via a quick Google search but it came back and said something along the lines of "your characteristic traits are not needed at this time." etc. etc. Thank you anyway! :)

Finally got a product to test from Pinecone for which I will need to complete a questionnaire for later in the week. Quite happy with their questionnaires overall.

I've been lucky enough to have two products to test this year - unfortunately the first one was a frozen item, and I'd just moved, so by the time it was redirected it was too late.

Would love to test one of the higher end products but they are probably like hen's teeth to find.

Incidentally, I seem to be getting more surveys lately where after a few questions I fail to qualify - never had that before. Is that happening to anyone else?
They seem to be less regular too :(

Yes happening to me too getting screened out after a few questions as I don't qualify and not coming through as regularly as they used to.
Long as the pay per survey doesn't go down that is the main thing.

I only get one survey every few months, I haven't been screened out though. I was lucky to get into Pinecone early, so I still get £4 per survey, rather than the £3, which is standard for newer members ;)

Are Pinecone Research and Opinion Outpost the same thing? I've tried a couple of links to join up with Pinecone and after asking my age it comes up with the Opinion Outpost sign up? I'm confused.

How much is 1 point worth in Opinion Outpost?
5p I think. I'm not impressed with Opinion Outpost so far, I was invited to a survey and screened out after 5 minutes. The experience reminded me why the only survey site I do is Prolific!
So is Pinecone still going? Weird that the links now go to Opinion Outpost.

I gave up with Opinion Outpost ages ago too many screen outs and too low paid and prize draw entry surveys which were not worth it.
Prolific Academic is the best survey type site as well as Populuslive Live which is also pays really well for each survey.
Pinecone is still going well but is extremely difficult to get into. Just keep an eye out for any sign up links and if you don’t get in straight away try again a couple of months later. I tried a few times and eventually got in through a link on the Maximiles site. They sent a link through and just tried and managed to get in alright. Certainly worth it for £3 a survey and I get them through regularly and I have had lots of new product trials as well.
