I have two slow cookers, one large and one medium, and I use them both at once quite often, either to cook 2 meals or to make a main meal and pud. There are a couple of very good Facebook slow cooking groups if anyone's interested:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/slowcookersaddos/
https://www.facebook.com/groups/slowcookedwonders/
Their files are chock-a-block full of recipes.

I bought one on Tuesday and I love it!
I'm quite a fussy eater so I don't really follow any recipes. I just chuck in some meat and whatever veg I feel like and job done :)
Making sausage casserole at the moment though. It smells lovely!

I love my slow cooker. I'm veggie but I do gammon in apple juice or a whole chicken, loads of stews, soups, curries, even rice pudding.

And I want to try making fudge for Christmas.

I totally failed to make fudge in my slow cooker a couple of weeks ago. But it was very nice caramel sauce.

At a stab in the dark, I'd say sweet.

Not sure if you mean how do you actually get it out, or how does it taste! I do it in a silicon cake mould, so easy to get out. And you can do LOADS of sweet stuff in a slow cooker. Rice pudding, for example, is fab in a slow cooker. And self saucing pudding. The list is endless, have a look at my Pinterest board.

I cook anything and everything in mine from rice pudding- only problem being it smells so nice I eat it for breakfast- to soup. The other bonus is it heats the kitchen too . I only have storage heaters and economy 7 electric so a stainless steel slow cooker left on can keep the kitchen nice and warm over night !

I love mine and great to get it going in the morning if you have a busy day ahead. I especially love that smell when you walk in the door and the whole place smells of the dish you are cooking.

Not sure if this has been mentioned in the thread but slow cooking is a technique as well as a technology - I know someone who does this type of cooking with their oven set to a low temp. Bon appetite :)

I bought a little one earlier this month from the CS but I haven't used it yet. I love the idea of a cheap, veggie meal waiting for me at the end of the day but I haven't found the perfect recipe to try yet and I want my first experience to be a good one otherwise it'll be another discarded gadget that I'll never use again

Have also tried a whole ham/gammon in coke in the slow cooker and that worked well too.

I am doing sausage casserole in mine tomorrow night so I can just warm it through when the kids get home from school.

Try a three bean chilli - loads of results come up if you do a google search. High in protein and if there's any extra you can always freeze it for those days you don't want to cook ;).

Here's one to get you started http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/slow-cooker-three-bean-chili/12405510-6801-45d2-82ee-4d8de1b9ab47

My large slow cooker has gone to the great kitchen in the sky, sob sob. :(
It developed a ginormous crack. I do have another but it's not big enough for a whole chicken so after we've finally moved house, if that ever happens in my lifetime (!) I'll be on the lookout for a good deal.

I love my slowcooker, I've had it about 10 years now and I'm still learning things to do in it. Just about to go and put something for tonights tea in it. My daughter is so happy I've learnt to do something other than stews lol

I also use a Remoska to save me putting the "big" oven on. There's only the two of us so I rarely need to cook anything big/bulky. It is perhaps the best £100 I've ever spent as we use it almost daily. ;D
