Small balance in WH - should I use it on slots?

Hi there, I have £3 or so in my WH account and have been reading about wagering on slots but I have never done these before! I had a quick look on the slots page and can see loads of them ... all with different RTP values (as from what I've read this is the bit I need to look at when choosing - I think!).
Some of the slots advertised in the big grid on the page have monetary figures at the top (£546,543,04) which are constantly changing ... what are these? And why do only some slots have them?
Thanks!

Well WH current;y have 5 free spins on Frankie Dettori so you could do those as a starting point. https://promotions.williamhill.com/offer/casino-5fs-frankiex2
You won't win anything mind because there's 35x wagering on your winnings, which is high for such a small amount of spins, but it is free so its a start.

You could gamble your £3 in slots if you wanted. As usual the jury is still out on whether playing slots and casino helps to save being gubbed or not. Some say it helps protect your account, others that it makes no difference.

RTP means Return To Player and is the %you would get back if you played the slot machine indefinitely and all the wins and losses evened out. Some games have RTPs of 96% or above so look for those.

The monetary figures above some slots are progressive jackpots, that keep going up until someone wins it. I think these big jackpot games are less likely to pay out smaller prizes so I tend o avoid them.

I wouldnt bother TBH, you will find many slots dont "wake up" till you have sunk a few quid in... there are lucky exceptions and of course 1 20p spin can win a jackpot, but in all reality your £3 would be gone in 2 mins... When i have small sums like that in bookies i am not going to deposit into i would stick it on a sports acca... say a 6 or 7 fold acca on outstanding favourites (like say Man City at 1.2 v Luton at 25.1) that kind of thing where you are most likely to get a win... i do £5 6 or 7 fold accas 2 or 3 times a week on really low odds football games, they almost always wins... plus bookies LOVE punters doing Accas so it stands you in good stead with them there. I also throw last couple of quid on blackjack or bet on red/black on roulette.. if you are prepared to lose the £3 then might as well try win something with it... alternatively... stick it on a favourite at gee gees... a win could net you £20 or more.. FYI ... RTP is something that really mainly applies to playing for longer... if a machine has an RTP of say 97% that generally means that for every £100 you sink in you can "expect" to get £97 back

I think the RTP needs to be factored on an even bigger scale. Every £1,000 in £970 out. Just my experience as a big time slots winner.

I'd do the same as Jon. I personally find that mugging casinos every couple of weeks and doing an ACCA stands me in great steed with the sites I get the most offers from, and I get a LOT of VIP offers from a couple of sites so I want to keep them sweet.

If you mug spin on slots without a bonus you're basically giving up EV. Maybe a few quid here and there of mug spinning I can understand.
Otherwise, it's chucking money away and gambling, which is the antithesis of matched betting and advantage play.

I don’t buy into the “mug spinning” concept at all lol

Dunno Jon, i think it has creedence... i get tons of offers from SkyBet on my "wifes" account as i do a good bit of advantage play on slots ... this is only difference between this account and my own account in which i did lots of mug sports bets and took the sports offers but never really did slots offers at all, that account got gubbed fairly quickly, my wifes account is going strong far longer than my own account lasted.. so maybe
