I'm in the middle of packing for a house move so I'm not really in start mode for September savings. However, I used one of those book buying sites to offload some stuff. Result. £60
Then I went to cancel a course I'd booked only to find it had been cancelled anyway. So I got a £35 refund.
Found a few bits to put on Ebay and selling some bunk beds so, hopefully more
Looking forward to settling in the new place and getting Money She'd serious. ☺

Sept total so far £95

How many books did you have to send off to get £60?

Did they send you something in the post to send the items off in?

Granted, it was about 40 books but they accumulated over the years. ☺ Yes, they sent a pdf to print labels and a guy to pick up the boxes I packed. Took about a week to process.

And because of the imminent house move I've been shopping around for some savvy savings on utilities and house insurance and bagged myself £143 cashback into the bargain.

September total so far - £237

Which site did you use. I'm moving home too and have a shed load of books to get rid of, but the site I used kept telling me they didn't like 'this' title at the moment. I don't really want to take them to the charity shop as this house moving lark is expensive.

I just got £14.93 for 7 books from Ziffit.co.uk (£1.36 of that was a promo code uplift). And i got £9.02 from Zapper.co.uk for 8 items (books, cds and games).

They both send you PDF labels too (free postage) but you have to take it to a Collect + location to send off the parcel if the box weighs less than 15kg (otherwise they'll collect from your house if you want).

Not sure if that helps, remember to check for promo codes before completing the checkout, I did a google search for mine.

I recommend checking with at least 3 different sites for the best price. It took me AGES to check all my items, ended up keeping some as the price wasn't right, it's easier just to send all items to one place but you maximise the earning by cross-checking the sites and moving items around to see where the best overall value will be found.
