I've never heard of this kind of feature before. You can bet on polotics but have any of you used that feature before?

I can’t think of any way you can take advantage of those sort of markets apart from having some kind of inside information
You can bet on whatever you want but how you would lay it off and make Risk Free money from it I don’t know
I'm guessing for that one i can't lay it off cos i don't know any other places that do bets like that... But hey I've done stupider thinngs in my life.. like when i was 15, bitcoins were like £200 and i used to buy... Actually i don't think i can say that... Point is, i should've saved my bit coins cos look how much they are now...
The politics markets on the exchanges is more for trading I think, unless there was a particular price boost that you could lay off.
There are people out there that trade on politics during elections and brexit etc. but this is veering away from matched betting.

I lost £100 on Brexit
A friend of mine explained on stuff like this, you bet AGAINST what you want to happen as then when you lose, you have a bit of cash to do some good with.
My £100 on Trump was a shock, but when I won I was able to do something more fun with the cash.
I suppose there is no reason you couldn't MB political things, but your danger is you might find the markets/exchange are slightly different.
with so many 'good' MB options, I'd probably avoid political MB. The other issue with it, is that you will be far too affected by the outcome!

Its dreadfully depressing when you realise no matter how big you think your portfolio is, there are people with funds that are millions of times larger and these guys really do have a control (and insight) into it that you'd never believe.
Indeed. I've decided that I do not know more than the market, so it's passive investing all the way from now on. Recently got burned on RICA investment trust, which is apparently "wealth preservation".
On the other hand, I'm confident that there is an edge over the market with matched betting and advantage play.
It's gonna be so interesting seeing how brexit works out (but hopefully not too painful).

Well I'm booking our Florida flights on the 28th December so I don't care of I have to catapult over the Atlantic, Virgin will get me there somehow!
