Hiya Guys..
Just a little confused on the sign up offer, it says free 5 X £10 bets on your premier team yep, so I'm on bet 3 at the moment, but I did notice when placing the £10 bet today, it then came off my balance, had £93 then £83
I might have it all wrong, but if it's free why should it come of your balance.

As ever many thanks for your help..

Cheers Pete

It's honestly been so long since I did the smarkets signup offer I can't remember. You may be better off asking on the dedicated thread for that offer on Profit Accumulator.

Looking at the terms, this Smarkets welcome offer is for 5 x £10 risk-free bets on your selected team's next 5 matches after signing up.
So you would be looking to pick a market with high odds such as half-time/full-time, correct score or first goalscorer to use as Stake Not Returned (SNR).

@Destiny, the £10 came off your balance because you need to use your own cash to place each £10 risk-free bet. If the bet loses, Smarkets will refund your £10. If the bet wins, you've made some profit.

Here's some figures off the top of my head as an example:

Back £10 Cardiff to beat West Ham @ 6.00 on Smarkets (potential win £50.00)

Then, lay £7.50 on Cardiff at 6.20 on Betfair (liability £39.00).

Possible outcomes:
- If Cardiff win (+£50 at Smarkets, minus £39 at Betfair = £11.00 net profit)
- If Cardiff do not win (minus £10 at Smarkets, +£7.50 (minus 37p @ 5% commission) = + £2.13 + £10 refund at Smarkets = + £12.13 net profit.

The one i did was like 2.05 odds cos i had like £30 in my bank so put £10 in smarkets and £10 in betfair. Betted on a match that happens this wednesday. I'll literally be making £2 profit.

Fair play. I guess if you had limited funds, then you've gotta take what odds you can. Ideally you should be looking at around £7.50 per £10 refund from this offer.

Best of luck with it, let me know if you need any more pointers.

If i staked £7.50 my liability would be £40... And for a 18 year old student who doesn't shot and can't find a job he wants.... They aint gonna happen..

If you’ve been matched betting long enough to move from betfair through to smarkets you should have made WAY more than £40 which you could use to make a decent amount from this offer

Im still on the starting 3. Betfair is my lay one and smarkets is my back one. Last payout was £35 from the betfair offer so i had £50 in total in my bank but i bought pizza which brought it back down to £35...

I honestly miss school.. while my friends had girlfriends and partied, i studdied so hard but still came out with Ds in English and maths... Even in college no girl would go out with me because i was "wierd" or "childish." "You act like a kid" fuck do they know.
