Ok I have searched the web and looked through various online manuals of my Huawei Ascend Y300 Smartphone and I cannot find any information on what the 'Quick GPS' Setting is on my phone. I don't know if I need to have it on if I press it it says about maybe using some data. Does anyone have a clue on this as to whether it should be on or off?
Does it use information from my Wifi Network or will it try to use my mobile data as well?
Just wondering since my GPS signal doesn't seem to work very well I just get it constantly searching for a GPS signal which obviously is draining my battery by continually searching all the time.
If I turn it off then I have enable it again for all the Apps that require it then it takes ages to find my location.
Would the Quick GPS help to find my location quicker or would it just be using mobile data therefore costing me money?
Just thought I would ask here in case anyone happens to know the answer.

Ok so I discovered the Facebook App was hogging all the memory on my phone and also switching the GPS on making my GPS search so it was constantly running all the time without doing anything. I removed it and now my phone is running SO much faster and no lagging and also now my GPS on my phone doesn't keep coming on and draining my battery. It finds the signal and then goes off and plus the Apps like Clic And Walk Roamler etc are also working properly and can find my location ok where they were constantly crashing and had errors with the Facebook App installed on my phone.
I did have the GPS setting off on the Facebook App but it obviously ignored it and was constantly running in the background causing problems slowing my phone, crashing my phone and sending my GPS on my phone haywire.
So Facebook App is definitely NOT going to be installed again. I can do without it on my phone and just use my laptop as far as Facebook goes.
Least I have solved the problem of my GPS.
