Wow, sounds aspirational...best of luck to you - what sort of website is it that you're planning on running new?
I own a fair number of domain names so I'd like to actually put some content onto those sites. Some money related and some nothing to do with money at all lol, a real mixture!

Congratulations on making the leap to self-employment.
I did the same and had the last day at my job a week and a half ago. The plan was to get half term out of the way then set about making money/expanding my own business.
That all went out the window when my daughter came down with scarlet fever at the end of half term .. so another week for her at home and me not getting anything done!

See this is why I'm glad I've spent the last 3 years working on making passive income from my sites so that if I am ill or have family issues I can still warn money regardless

Congratulations on taking the next step. Expecting big things as you're so accomplished with what you have already achieved on a part-time basis.
Hope to follow suit sometime in the future when I get an idea to pursue for a business venture.

Had a slight wobble about it all earlier in the week but I seem more settled now. I think it's just the uncertainty at this point with a month left at work!

Would gladly take the opportunity and mines a slightly bigger door, as its 8-5 plus consistent overtime lol.
I'll have to use these remaining months of the year to get more productive. Always loved the thought of starting my own business. Any tips, hints or ideas welcomed! (I'm always searching).
With me it’s been a case of finding skills I didn’t know I had.
Like I knew how to make a website, been doing that since 1998 but it’s more around how to earn from it and how to create platforms that companies want exposure on since print media is going to the dogs long term!
What are your interests? What knowledge do you have outside of work that you could apply to something?
Jon, are you still gonna press ahead with the idea for a sports banner ad site that you suggested in one of the other threads?

I have a number of domains / site ideas around slot / casino offers
yeah that might have changed through to being a casino / slot site as the affiliates tend to pay a lot more and I think the sign up is generally more of an easier 'pull'
The main barrier I can see with casino/slots is the limited number of affiliate options, unless you can somehow go direct.

There's some other great gambling affiliate companies out there so I think there should be enough to make money from the site.
Investment wise it's more money than time since I already have the domain and the hosting.. Least that's how I think about it anyway lol
