They're playing politics again. My sister lives in Havering, Essex. It has around 350 cases per 100,000 and has been rising. My son lives in Nottingham which has 206 cases per 100,000 and falling. Havering is Tier 2 like the majority of the South East. Nottingham is Tier 3. Complete bollocks!

Feel so sorry for the people in the hospitality and entertainment sectors. They must be ready to give up.

Yeah I mean unless you are part of a chain or have access to government grants you are pretty screwed!

The Oxford / Astra news today

It relates to the US trial and not the approval submitted to MHRA and the EU. I suggest you just ignore the number 90% efficacy. 60% efficacy is enough and can be presented as a choice for lower risk group (and it is cheaper).

Did anyone else get a furlough payment from RedWigwam today? A random £25 just went into my account from them for November Furlough. Weird as I never had anything from them during the first lockdown or any communication about it until today.

Pretty low infection / death numbers today

Looks like Arcadia may go to the wall this week, I'm not surprised no one wants to bail them out. It's like like Hays have taken Thomas Cook and all their stores and turned it into a roaring trade!

The Sports Direct guy was sniffing round them but I don't know if he wanted to help resurrect the whole thing or just buy some of the stores

There seems to be pretty crippling debt in the forms of the pension side of things with Arcadia which I think is putting Mike off
