I know a lot of people who are going back to their home country in the summer - taking the whole family and staying for six weeks. Yet there is still a lot of restrictions in this country. No swimming pools, gyms, etc.

yeah I wish we get an opening day for swimming pools / gyms.. I don't quite get what they are waiting for. Swimming pools are covered in chlorine anyway!

I know - Its really annoying as even my son is getting a bit fed up of just going to the park and not even able to play on the swings. We really need some different things to do now.

OMG, I have just made an appointment to have my hair cut on 14th July
It's been 4 months since my last haircut and I look like a yeti.
So excited :D

I was talking to my niece about this the other day who told me that apparently pools are full of bacteria and that the stronger the smell of chlorine, the higher the bacteria is. And I always thought they smelt really clean!

My hair is booked in on Saturday! So excited. The last time it was cut was last October.

How can you manage to go nine months without a haircut?
I am going crazy with all the extra weight on my head

My hair hasn't been cut for 6 months now, and I have to wait until August, as I'm not allowed into shops etc until then. I can't wait for it to be cut. I have the sort of hair that doesn't get any longer, it just grows outwards lol.

I had to buy some hair clippers a month or so ago when it started getting out of hand

Sooner I stop using those the better!!!

Letting all the short-hair people get their haircuts in first. Mine's long and I've used lockdown to grow my fringe out, so I can cope for another few weeks (but ONLY another few weeks...).

My hairdresser's going to have a job on her hands sorting my colour out, however.

I started reading articles on how to clip your own hair. Then I looked on Amazon for hair clippers. Very informative it was too. However, I do not need clippers that can do nose hair, ear hair or side burns. I was thinking that I could shave my head somehow and keep the fringe.
The only thing that has stopped me doing this is that my hairdresser would have killed me if I did. Hairdressers can be very scary.

Late figures today, and still an appalling tragedy, but we are slowly getting there.

Why did they come out so late today?
I suspect they were carefully choosing the wording about the changes in the numbers. Unfortunately, that made it look like they were massaging the figures rather than making them more accurate. Anyway, guesswork on my part but that would make sense to me.
