Got a feeling they are going to announce cancelling sporting events any day now

I see the Louve closed today over in Paris!

I personally think it’s being blown out of proportion. For most people it’s like getting a touch of flu and a few days later you are fine. It’s killing all the same people that a normal flu would. Your still more at risk of being ran over, getting into a car crash or dying in a house fire at the moment. Do we give up everything for them?

I am concerned that as both being self employed having to self isolate just in case would be really detrimental to our income. Well more his than mine as I can still bash on with stuff. He works as a handyman so being out and about and in people's homes is what pays for the mortgage and bills etc.

Not surprised to see some silly conspiracy theories appearing.
Frankly i'm surprised no one is blaming the Russians.
The Russians got in there first and even on some mainstream news channels have openly suggested it could have been released by America.

This is so sad for any business affected by this nonsense that’s all hyped up. I’ll be super annoyed if I can’t get toilet paper when I go for my shop next week.

I'm good. I bought a bulk buy of 72 toilet rolls from ebay last month - not because of the coronavirus, I might add, but because it was a good deal ;)

This has prompted me to get off my fat butt and start delivering some singing and theory teaching via Zoom. And turn the theory teaching into a course that I can scale up and sell to people that aren't already my students as well. Not sure either thing would have occurred to me without a) Coronavirus, or b) this platform.

Now to buy a nice room divider screen to put in the space behind my piano so I don't need to do any extra housework...

To put things into perspective; 3,400 people have died from Corona virus in three months.

25,000 people in the world die every day from hunger.

They wont be in the news though because we'll never see them and they wont affect if a rugby match can go ahead or not.
