Check neevo people, there's a $3 per task one, but I have to say it seems horrendous at first glance.

Just had that email, was about to turn my laptop on and check it out. Might try one and see if it’s worth the effort. Says it takes 10 mins per task. That’s about £13ish an hour.

I did a ton of these around Christmas. They’re quite easy despite first appearances

I've got the segmentation one for $3 or the one they're not paying for $0.07 mmm decisions decisions.

Pro-tip for the segs - F2 your way through the speech bits. It's the beginnings, the ends, and anything that looks like a long pause you need to focus on.

Having this little beauty back nearly makes up for the other debacle. Only nearly, mind.

Sorry to hove into this thread again, but I've just had a totally unexpected further payment for the Text-Audio Correction task - I've now been paid for 144 out of 171 segments. I think I can live with that.

Anyone else just had a few dollars more hit their PayPal?

EDIT: I should say, there was no indication I was going to be paid for more than 67 (I think) segments.

Yes, I thought I would as they did send an email saying they knew about the errors. I got paid for about another 70 even though it doesn't show in my work history. I think that means I got paid for the vast majority of those I did.

Yep 363 paid for me now, just 150 short now weeeee.
Better than yesterday when they said I'd only done 109.

I hope that the difference is the early mistake they emailed about, but the segmentation task pays so well I'm not really bothered.

I'd F2 through the speech rather than inbetween. You'd be surprised how many mm-hmms and yesses hide almost unseen/unheard inbetween on the background noise ones. The nice 'clean' segments you're fine doing that, though, I think.

Can I just check, if there is a 'uuh' for example, do I write uuuh or use the tag [uuh/]?

Judging by the number I've had rejected take this with a pinch of salt but yes use one of the 4 uh / mh tags, think the instructions says don't make your own up if I remember rightly.

The most speedy ones are Esc to start/stop, F1 to rewind, and F2 to fast forward. Makes the seg job a really good payer.

You're just making sure that all the speech is included in segments, and that no words or parts of words are cut off.
