I tried the horatio app first cost Im a numpty.
No jobs on there doh!

Works ok on the (right) neevo app though and you get to play guess the movie quiz yipeeeee!

I have just read the instructions for the scripted speech data collection tasks that I have been given. This job is exclusively for native English speakers from the United Kingdom or Ireland. However, one of the instructions is this:-

You may see dates in the format "12/5/19". Read this aloud as you naturally would, for example, "December fifth twenty nineteen" OR "December fifth two thousand nineteen".

The thing is, if I wrote the date down like that, it would read twelfth May twenty nineteen, not December fifth twenty nineteen. Isn't the latter, the way people write down the date in say, America? I'm just wondering, if I should read it out as I would in the UK (twelfth May twenty nineteen), or, stick to the way that Neevo is saying (non-English way - December fifth twenty nineteen?).

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

If its 12/5/19 I'd read it 12th of May 2019, if its 12/30/19 I'd be confused then realise it's the US way and go 30th December 2019.

I did get an English audio recording ask though, but already getting submission error after 8 tasks. No wonder Neevo's rating n their app is 2.7.

How does it work being the agent rather than the customer on the phone calls? I mean how do you make the calls, with your own mobile phone or via a website tool?

I had to give Neevo my phone number. Then you log onto Neevo on a computer and press Start Call, and then they phone both you and the customer. So you speak through your phone but you control it through your computer. It’s fun! I’ve done 2 hours tonight so hopefully they will pay me $30 for that.

That would make sense if they had said that in the first place instead of saying it was the devined crowd app.

Managed 300 in an hour, if they are approved that works out as pretty decent pay! some of the sayings are making me giggle though!

I checked and rechecked the instructions and there was nothing in there about singing. I wouldn't have done it anyway lol.

I know it didn’t say, but a musical note denotes singing. So I thought, why not!
