I did the comparing audio to the corrected text job (if that makes sense, dunno what else to call it) and I can say that there were sooooo many that had been incorrectly transcribed and/or missing the correct tags. Most tasks I saw were incorrect, the highest number I’ve seen yet. So many were simply due to the lack of non speech tags so maybe that’s something you suffered with? Not accusing at all, please don’t get me wrong. I have just seen it from the other side of things as I know others here have too.
I honestly haven't a clue, all I know is I was pretty confident with the job, and thought I understood all the correct tags. But of course without knowing what I did, I can't learn from it for next time.

Crystal ball on our xmas list perhaps? So annoying there’s no feedback when we don’t get it right

Its a crap feeling. I had the same thing happen to me, What made it worse was Neevo sent me about 3 emails saying I was a special worker and I was being picked for this "secret" project because my attention to detail was amazing. Then they failed about 850 of my tasks :/ I emailed the contact and offered to work for them for free to make the breifing process clearer for everyone. Thats where i see the biggest problem. Thier briefing of tasks is subpar at best

Do you still do any work for them now? There is a few jobs floating about atm but that has kinda put me off, so I'm feeling less than enthused incase it happens again.

Is anyone doing the 3 sentence car task for 8c? it used to be 5 sentences, but tbh the pay is still crap for what you have to do.

I tried one, managed 2 sentences and quit. Not worth it for me.

Anyone finding they get random partial payments that don't seem to match anything you have done, was paid $8 last night and the project code on the paypal email does not mach anything on my dashboard, nor does the payment value

Just been blocked from a job after doing 300 tasks... Any idea if I will get paid for any of them?

Regarding your first question, no that has never happened to me, but then I'm lucky to get any payment from Neevo these days.

As for the second question, I have no idea, their payment system is just wrong imo. I'm sure you read what I wrote above about not getting paid for over 1000 tasks, which they claim were invalid, yet I was never blocked from the job. So basically they let me sit spending hours on a job, then didn't pay me. Sometimes it just feel like they'll pay you if they feel like it, whether it's right or wrong.

I chatted to them, they said when project closes they will check how many I did right and pay me for that - I don't hold out much hope really.

Me again - out of 310 they will pay for 140 - now this is a bit odd as there are 3 types of the same project and only one I have got blocked on this one and somehow 50% or so are wrong. As of last week they paid 100% on the other 2... basically the same thing, listening to recordings and marking yes or no if they comply.

So I sorta smell a rat with Neevo now as well, if they could tell in one day I had failed over 50% why let me continue doing the tasks, and the other tasks were apparently I have 'good quality'

I wouldn't say avoid Neevo - but definitely proceed with caution

Anyone doing the grading the text to speech evaluation? Is adding comments optional?

I joined Neevo in mid-July but didn't start using it much until early August. So far I've found it a mixed bag, I passed the writing test but not the listening test. I've probably done about $170-$180 worth of bits so far, of which I've been paid for about 55% of the tasks as stands.

I've not had too bad an experience with submitted tasks - one job I submitted 280, got paid 280, another job I submitted 66 got paid 58, another submitted 1181 got paid for 1180, but I often get emails about jobs that when I log in to do, I can't access, or it says all tasks are gone right from the off.

I also did a little job via email a few days ago (one of the listening a) or b) ones...) that hasn't shown up in my work history after I submitted about 150 tasks on it which is worrying.

It's not terrible, but the erratic payments can be annoying and feel slow, and one of of my biggest paying jobs (2558 tasks submitted) has been sat as just 'closed' since I did it, which is annoying.

I'm happy enough with what I've been paid for the jobs I've been paid on, but overall I think the site needs work. On a lot of tasks, it said 'work not up to standard' etc but I still got paid.

Of the jobs I've been paid for, most are more recent ones with a few older ones just sat as 'closed' or 'inactive' so it can be confusing.

I've currently got 4 jobs showing as 'active' but only one has tasks left on (the 3 similar sentences one...).

It's useful enough but I prefer my survey sites like InstaGC, Qmee, Opinion Outpost etc still.

I did 8124 of the compare speech to text, and got paid for them all a few days after they closed, which i was quite surprised about tbh...
Now have 6 jobs sitting there saying closed, with over 10,000 tasks in total, no payment yet, also have the same problem with getting emails about jobs, and there is none there when you log in.
Think I might just wait to see what I get paid out and then give Neevo a miss in future

Same here, woke up to 4 payments totalling $72.67. Also had 760 points added to my Opinion Outpost balance as an incentive from a ZOOM chat/research thing I did back in August. Sod's law, now my Paypal won't let me withdraw. Started refusing withdrawals about 11.30 pm last night, god knows why the same account both PayPal and bank-wise I've been using since 2005 and I make a few withdrawals daily via survey sites. Verified an SMS with a code this morning, etc. Hopefully, sort it out on Monday. Has at least restored some enthusiasm for Neevo in me, other issues aside.
