After every single entry they're now asking if you're sure you done it right, so that's another time wasting click

I'm guessing they've got a lot of mistakes here, although I seem to have got 115 out of 120 right.

I sent quite a strong message earlier - polite, but taking no prisoners, as it were. I suppose I'd better count down to having my account deleted...

Tried to make a start on these but I'm finding as soon as I type a space after a word, it gets deleted. Sent them an email, so we'll see what they have to say. Has anyone else had this?

Worked it out, it was an issue with my keyboard. Managed to do a few tasks before they ran out. Reckon I've made about 30p!

Neevo has popped up with a new job. We have just started a new job for native UK English speakers, and we'd love you to participate.
Pay doesn't appears to be a bit better. Each task is worth $0.07 USD per valid recording.You can complete up to 10,000 tasks.

Is my maths right ... that’s 700 dollars if u do all 10k????

there will never be 10,000and that would take you forever. I’ve spent about 6 hours doing 600 so certainly not the best earner.

They were either very easy or very hard I found.

I got to 4 before it vanished from my dashboard. I was sat in the hospital with my Nan so could have done loads. May as well have made some cash because she didn’t know I was there!

Apparently they are "aware and monitoring" and "will adjust it in any way necessary". Hmm.

I also gave them some feedback about the low rate of pay and amount of work involved and they said they were aware and working on fixing this.

Client is going to pay X regardless so its Y that needs to become less for Z to get paid more!

I don’t know what’s gone wrong with this task. Seems there shouldn’t be as much to edit as there has been so at least they are acknowledging it. I’m not expecting the rate of pay to increase.

We know you have been working on our UK English Text-Audio Correction job, and we wanted to thank you for your work and to let you know about some issues concerning that project.

This correction job has a follow-up in the form of a validation job. If you didn't follow the guidelines for correction closely, your tasks may get invalidated in that job, and, in that case, you will see your counter drop the number of completed tasks.

Now, unfortunately, there was a problem in the initial validation job, and you may have seen your counter of completed tasks drop way too drastically. We have now identified and rectified the issue, and, even though your counter may still show way lower numbers than it should, we do know how many tasks were affected by it, and we will make sure that you get paid for those. That is only going to happen next week, however, so we need ask you to bear with us for a few more days.

In the meantime, the validation job now works as it should, and so any tasks cancelled after last night around 10 pm are being validated as expected. That is: any cancellations that you may have seen since last night are, unfortunately, because your work didn't meet the expected standards.

We sincerely appreciate your contribution, we apologize for the inconvenience, and we hope that you will continue working with us!

I replied to that email with:

a) why did you pay the transcribers who blatantly used dictation programmes; and
b) incidentally, even the dread Rev pay on average 0.20c per audio minute, and this job costs out for the longer segments (and they're nearly ALL longer segments) at around 0.07c per audio minute.

It’s actually crazy that people have been paid for transcribing this work. I logged in and did a couple of jobs but it was horrific for the money so I’ll be giving it a miss.
