Transcribe Work speech recording Neevo

Hi,

I really need to make some money asap. I've just signed up with Neevo after reading about it on here.
It's asking me to confirm my Paypal and it's having me click on a link that takes me to the sign in page on Paypal, I don't like signing into my accounts through clicked links, is this ok to do or not? Is there any way of confirming your Paypal email without signing into my account via the link?

Also is it possible to make some ok money on here?

Neevo veteran here (over two years) - last year's accounts figures tell me that I earned over £1000 through Neevo, from a variety of jobs. Some of them are awful, tedious, incredibly poorly paid grunt work which might scrape you £5 per hour if you're bloody minded. Unfortunately, those are the ones you will start with as they get to 'know' you. Then there are some like the segmentation task you'll have seen mentioned here which work out at around £20 per hour. Mostly, they're inbetween tasks which average out at around £9-£10 per hour.

Neevo is absolutely worth sticking with. Is the pay good? Not always. Is it speedy? Depends on how many people worldwide are working a task and whether you're bumped early for quality control reasons (and you won't necessarily know). Are they transparent about how much you'll be paid and when? No, but I get the impression that has more to do with the set up there rather than trying to pull a fast one.

I have a task where i have to listen to a Text-To-Speech recording and evaluate how natural the speech sounds. Pretty easy and in my native language however it is the same recording over and over again. Is this how it meant to be?

They asked for the job number, I said there is no record of it on my dashboard so I didn't have the number. So looks like that was a waste of time. The job numbers are under the "Work History" tab - and you've prodded me that I need to ask them when that job is paying out (1200 here...). It looks as though it's currently "under review". I have noticed in the past that the Australian ones are very slow to pay out, so I think it's the fault of their end client there.

I have read the instructions and I am now trying to do the test for it, however, the 'square' with the shapes in it on my computer screen is just not loading properly - has anybody else had this issue before? Thank you.

Well I finally found the job, it was under English UK when I thought it would have said English Australian, anyway, no reply yet from them so will wait and see.

However, I have just completed 364 of the possible 500 and now it has closed on me - it is again saying 'Work didn't meet Quality Standards'. Does Neevo actually pay you for the ones that you have done (even though the quality message comes up)? I completed 222 different tasks a week ago, which also said 'Work didn't meet Quality Standards' - I have not been paid for any of those yet either. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

A bit odd given it's about as simple of a task that you can get.

I had 'Work didn't meet Quality Standards' after 374 tasks in another 500 task job the other day, so it happens quite often it would appear.

Difficult to know who's in the office, if anyone. I suspect support is being run entirely from home by one or two people. Also difficult to know how many different ports of sign-off money has to go through, especially if end clients are running a skeleton staff by remote too.

Plenty of perfectly legitimate reasons right now that payments have slowed down. There's a state of emergency rather than a lockdown in Portugal (where I believe Neevo is based) but that does include working from home.

I completed this one last night. I did 502 but I know you get paid for the first 500 only. I'm not sure why I'm getting the 'Work didn't meet Quality Standards' message either. I did pretty well I thought.

You did really well getting to 500 - thank you for letting me know that you only get paid for the first 500 - is this for all of the jobs, or, just for the Review Sentiment Tagging ones? Do you know if there is a percentage that you have to get wrong before the job closes and you can't complete the rest? Thank you.

It’s not for all of the jobs. I did 4600+ on my last one. And I’m not sure how many you have to get wrong before you get removed from the task, just try your best to do it right.
