It was the last section that got me. I found 5, then got so frustrated that I put it through a grammar and spelling check. That only found 5, so either there wasn't a number 6, or it was so obscure that even the checker couldn't see it lol.

Did you highlight breath and taking?

Mine didn't have that, so there must be more than one passage. The only thing that I could see was a point at which it would have been better to start a new sentence. It wasn't grammatically incorrect as such, but would have run better as two sentences. I can't retake it now anyway, but I doubt being intermediate rather than fluent is going to lose me a shed load of cash lol.

The English writing test is on my dashboard now. All went swimmingly until the last section, where I could only find 5 out of 6 errors. I passed, however, with an intermediate rating.
My section was on the British and tea drinking, there were six there if that was same passage as yours.

I think I had the same passage as you. I thought it would be better with a new sentence but it wouldn't let me highlight both the comma and the first letter of the next word, so I just highlighted the first letter of the next word. I got Fluent, but it didn't say how many I got right or wrong.

Yep that sounds like the one! I was trying to highlight the comma and it wouldn't let me! Then it timed me out. Pfft!

On the upside, I think the super-clear Geordie is someone here, am I right? If so, THANK YOU.

I think the one I'm talking about might be a Geordie too, can't be the same one though surely haha.

Also I've only just realised (by reading the Crowdville thread) that capitals at the start of the speech is not an error anymore, and that "ok" doesn't have to be "okay". Damn it.

Ah. Bollocks. Mind you, I don't think I've had one yet where that's the only error.

And the Geordie is female. I'd lay bets that they've either transcribed for a living at some point, or worked in CS on the phone.

I wonder if it will matter if we've changed it to "okay" or a non-capital? It's still right isn't it...

Just taken the writing test and passed as fluent, so heppy with that, hopefully it will open up some new work.

Got the transcription one to do and only managed 71 before it told me there was no more tasks, which was a bit annoying.
