I note they've boosted the pay on the Text Variant Elicitation task from US$0.08 for three sentences to US$0.23 this morning. Still do not think it is worth doing.
How much do you think they should pay for 3 sentences @mcp ?
8 cents was really soul destroying, but I might give 23 cents a go!
I would consider US$0.45 as an absolute minimum for time invested.
The issue I have is that the invite says they pay US$0.23 for each validated task. My concern is there is a lack of transparency in what they consider to be valid. They might accept two of every three sentences but reject the third - meaning you don't get paid.
I've dont a few at 24c but how do you know they are right, some are so vague and the instruction examples seem to go way off the original topic, i can see a lot not getting paid
I notice that work I did validating AI phonecalls has gone missing from my work history!!! I'm waiting to see whether I get paid for this or not, fingers crossed but I am not hopeful. I also note that the live chat option has gone too.
Is anyone doing the latest round of mean opinion scoring? The recordings are so long that I have given up on the test, let alone working on the project! Neevo seems to have so few jobs that are worth doing.
I'm doing the MOS tasks now and I'm finding them super easy. The recordings are often only a few seconds long and there was no test involved. Are we talking about the same thing?
I didn't fail that one, but I failed one at REV that I was super confident I'd done well on. The annoying part is you never find out what it is they failed you on. If it's any consolation, I'm not sure you're missing much - I've had very few tasks since I got on board with Neevo.Did many other people fail the listening test? I've just signed up to Neevo - took the written test and passed it fine, but the listening test I took twice, failed, and it won't let me take it again. I'm really baffled as I was fairly sure about my answers. But it told me the language wasn't a good fit and suggested I could pick a different one. Given that English is the only language I speak and I'm pretty much as British as you can get, I'm somewhat perplexed!
