The company acts as a broker for businesses looking to advertise on daily deal platforms such as Groupon, Living Social, Wowcher etc. The culture of the company is unique and with a genuine care for other businesses and their needs. Joining a small but ever growing team of business development executives who have a great creative eye with attention to detail and strong passion for success. The company is looking to initially recruit 25 mothers to this new sales team.
THE ROLE
Spitfire Alternative Solutions are open to working with mothers on a part time permanent basis as well as short and long term contracts.
An overview of the role:
•Reporting to the company directors, as a Sales Account Manager you will work with minimal supervision to maximise new business opportunities in a defined geographic region, generating revenue through direct selling.
•Responsibilities and duties will include:
•Attending pre-booked appointments with prospective new clients at their premises, Identifying customer requirements, negotiating deals and closing profitable sales
•Seeking new business opportunities and booking own appointments
•Representing the company in a highly professional manner at all times
•Providing weekly reports to directors on activity, sales and pipeline
•Managing the recruitment, training and development of sales reps within your region
THE PERSON
The specific skills/experience do you require:
•To be considered for this Sales Account Manager role you must have:
•Proven experience in B2B new business generation ideally within the retail sector although this is not essential
•Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
•Commercial awareness with desire to seek out new business opportunities
•Self-motivation and drive, with a can-do positive attitude
•Desire to progress in the world of business
•Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
Personal characteristics and attitude:
•Positive minded and with ambition to succeed
