MMMM / M4: My Money Making Machine: whether I am making or saving money I sure am doing what any rational being should do isn't it?
Surprisingly few years ago I wasn't like this. I was so so loyal to a particular supermarket and felt I was being done a favour when I moved house and my then favourite supermarket was just two minutes walk from the house.
Well I am much wiser now thanks to CheckoutSmart; Shopitize; & Topcashback & my supermarket. I have the apps on my iPhone to start with. Plan my shopping; items needed on weekly basis, items on monthly basis; once in a while treats; items I can afford to stock up on and then match them with offers on the above mentioned apps. It's important to match your list to their offers and not vice versa so you don't end up buying what you don't need. Also know the days these cashback sites bring out their new offers.
Sometimes I am so lucky I earn cashback twice .e.g If I had bought the Happy Egg Co 6xLarge from my favourite shop it would have cost me £1.90 but through mysupermarket I discovered I could get it elsewhere for 97p that's about half price savings. It doesn't end there I got 15p & 35p cashback from Topcashback & Shopitize respectively and that means what would have cost me £1.90 ended up costing me 47p. Wow about 75% savings.
