I am the Survey Queen and I'm yet to be scammed. I give out my address and date of birth and things but I would never answer any questions taht were related to security, place of birth, mother's maiden name etc just to be on the safe side. I also use a different password with Apple passwords for every single website xMy other half says he finds it worrying that you’re giving so much info out about yourself in surveys and worries about me being scammed. I do understand his worry. Anyone have an opinion or view on this?
It could depend on the site you use and the questions asked. With Qmee they always give a warning before surveys not to give any data that would make you identifiable e.g. full address. I give a postcode sometimes and always a variation of my name but never too much data. He probably is wise to be wary!My other half says he finds it worrying that you’re giving so much info out about yourself in surveys and worries about me being scammed. I do understand his worry. This seems like a good idea. I probably should take this precautionI set up spare email address, generally use sites seen others use, if I’m not happy with the questions close thesurvey down x
