Survey sites that are still worth it now that matched betting is big here.

I've dramatically cut down my surveys, I stick to Prolific Academic (never screened out) and Mint Vine ($10 payment threshold).

I do matched betting and I've made a killing with it - I love it. But I also want an income I can prove on paper and include in a tax return, so it will help us to get another mortgage :)

If I had to cut down, I would choose Prolific Academic and Yougov to keep, as I find those most interesting. I haven't had a Pinecone survey yet, but just checked my profile and I had the frequency set to once a fortnight so that could be why...

Ive just joined the free postcode lottery. I earn reasonable from shop and scan and the petrol panel. Joined consumer pulse earlier last year and thats seems money for old ropes! Would like to get accepted on food on the go too. Really should do more with profit accumulator again, but i felt i was taking too much on at once!
Regards Surveys, im still a member at a lot, but have cut down how many i do nowadays! :)

I see different experience for everybody. In 6 months I did just £2 profilitic and gov was a nightmare (cashed out after 2 years and left). but mintvine, panelbase or opinionoutpost/opinionworld are good :)
im a gambler, lost millions :D in casinos, so scare even to start matching betting...

Millions?? wow! Very sorry to hear that, yeah I would definitely stay away then in that case, a lot of members at profit accumulator talk of slots being their weakness and eating into their profits. SO I would definitely keep the temptation well clear if you have that history.

The slots are very tempting especially if you win on one or more of the regular promotions!

I've cut down on surveys too but favs are still: Prolific A, OnePoll, One Pulse, and Mint Vine.

MBs + User Testing is best - Like Jon says, best not to have all your eggs in one basket and be mindful of the tax.

Worth signing up for everything when you start and see what works for you best as you might be demographically more suited than others!

I do Prolific Academic and My Survey. I'm intrigued by Matched Betting, but a bit intimidated by it, and I'm also crap with figures...

Use the free trial for profit accumulator above [member=602]Dorual[/member] and you won't be intimidated anymore

They literally hold your hand as you go through the offers in the free trial and you make around £45 for VERY little work

Thanks [member=1]Jon[/member]. Do they explain it fully for a beginner too? Might do this at the weekend.

I would suggest that it could depend on when you want to do it. I don't do matched betting but my perception is that it should take a little concentration; and that also, you can only do a finite amount of it at the beginning due to availability of your bank in each pot. I do surveys sat on the sofa in front of the tv when my concentration isn't required, so it would otherwise be deadtime for me, which I perceive is a time i probably couldn't do matched betting in, therefore it would be extra money on top when i do get round to starting matched betting.
I earned approx £70 last month on Spare 5 so that might be another one to consider?
£70 on Spare5? Wow. I've not had a single task to do in 3 weeks. I've done the phone qualifying task twice (apparently there was a bug which meant correct answers were rejected so even though I got 100% the first time I had to do it again). I also did the pic identifying one but I don't know if I passed that or not (didn't get any confirmation). Weird app.

I stick with Prolific and what users do and sometimes i do the odd one on user testing, these are by far the best ones for me.

I dont get timed out and the prolific ones i find really interesting, ive had one before that was a sim like game that i got paid something like £5 for!

seen a couple more on this thread though that i might have a look at as well.

[member=2658]Peter Physics[/member] it was mostly done on the webtasks site (https://app.spare5.com/v1/users/sign_in) they have a good number of tasks on there that can be good for passing time in front of the tv; they had one before christmas that was particularly lucrative as it was a little harder i think; but definitely worth looking at.

I also like Prolific Academic. Time out occasionally but most of the time I don't.
Tried MB and it wasn't for me. Followed the rules but didn't make the £45 which was claimed, not sure if it was just me choosing the wrong sites to sign up to, but felt like I was spending out more than I was getting. Ended up with £25 profit and then thought that was enough for me, with looking to mortgage this year!

It might have seemed that way, but you weren't

If you only made £25 instead of the circa £45 you were maybe doing low odds free bets instead of ones around 5.0/6.0

Shame you're going to give it up, you've already proved to yourself that the system works by making £25 for a little bit of work

I didn't realise it had a website also. Much better than the app in my opinion, thanks for the info!
