Taking a Break

For various reasons, I have decided to take a break from my blog at least for over the Summer as I've got too much going on. As a lot of you have probably picked up from my posts, I am having a bit of trouble with my older boy at the moment. There aren't enough hours in the day and also because we are doing our house up with a view to moving (haven't been able to sell it cause there is too much to do), I have decided that something needs to give and my focus needs to be just on making enough money. I am considering doing a jokey taking a break post by way of sign off, but wondering if this would be counter productive. Whatever happens after the Summer, I am going to copy all the posts I have produced with a view to possibly sending some off to magazines at some point. Any advice would be very welcome.

There is nothing wrong with taking a break. You could write the blog posts as blog posts but not publish them. Keep up the momentum of writing without feeling you have a deadline to meet.

regardless of what you do, make sure you look after yourself.

Have you thought about using a voice to text app/phone assistant. write the blogs by just talking at the phone and then you've just got to clean them up.

Writers don't need to actually 'write' to write. You've got some great post and so find what works for you
