Anyone working towards any at the moment?

I am wanting to take the family away to Spain for a few days in the summer so want to get to around £700-£800 June.

I used to go to Ibiza every year and that used to cost £99 with allocation on arrival (including flights) - Hate how expensive holidays are now.

Holiday prices are crazy now aren't they.

I'm not sure we will be going away this year, my husband has just started a new job and has been told they will be allocated time when they can take holiday.

I've been doing the £2014 in 2014 challenge on the green site. It would be nice to have some savings in the bank. The annoying thing is I do quite well then something comes up and I have to spend some of it!

I try not to set myself targets, but make enough to live on and increase my yearly online earnings (which is difficult)!

I know what you're saying about holidays and how expensive they can be, especially when you've got children. They always put the prices up for places in the UK and resorts abroad when the kids are off on holiday. The government should step in and do something about this, as people are struggling to cope financially and once again they seem to wipe their hands of it.

Completely agree about the cost of holidays in school holiday peak.

Does my nut in how much it costs - Trips away for us tend to be 4/5 days now instead of a full week as we just can't afford it.

As we are fortunate enough to have a beautiful beach on our doorstep, I would rather stay at home and go for walks and BBQs on the beach, but try telling that to my other half

£2014 challenge for me too.

Had a great start in January but this month wont be anywhere near the £168 (monthly average) extra I'm looking for

Not interested in the 63336 research jobs that were floating around? - Easy £200 a month minimum there

Nice blog BTW

Thanks, mainly just stuff I seen on the green site, tried out and reviewed. Gave this site quick mention last week though as some good topics here.

Yeh, I seen you or someone else post about 63336. I would definitely give it a shot but I note there's nothing available in UK at moment and it suggests 15 hours minimum per week - my own occupation means I couldn't commit to that every single week.

If you've a referral link, let me know though and I can apply.
