I don't remember entering my PayPal where do I enter this?,
I’ve not done the task myself on this one so drop them a line and just ask how they are dealing with payment.

In the past you get directed to a selection of payment methods when they are going to run payroll

I asked Appen and they said either you’ll need to provide payment details in Appen Global or you might have already done so and forgotten about entering the details.

Also, Appen have received your four phone calls and are in the process of quality checking them, but the wrong recruiters reference number was used – 543506 instead of my recruiters’ reference number 543509.

Can you let Appen know this by emailing them (using dc.recruitment@appen.com and Project Number P13082 as a header) so that they can manually change it to my recruiters’ reference number 543509?

No problem - thanks :D . After the quality checking process has been completed you should get paid within ten days.

Looking at the number of UK folk who have signed up and then not done this task the numbers are SHOCKING!

For all I see online about folk having no money or just doing low paying surveys for 50p a week it still gobsmacks me that well a well paid op comes along that may be slightly outside their comfort zone it just gets ignored.

Indeed - £37 per hour is brilliant .

It just baffles me.

Go look on Instagram at #debtfreecommunity or #debtfreecommunityuk and you will see folk peddling their 50p survey signups and whatever else and people are ALL OVER them!!

Something that pays well like this and it's like

I've been accepted but still need someone to complete the calls with. Any takers on here? I'm happy to return the favour also.

I've asked Appen for an extension for now.

I signed up through Jon's link and did this last week I think it was. It was really straight forward - just got a family member to talk about things with me. It was very straightforward and easy.

I'm wondering if they can sign up themselves too and just do it in reverse.

I potentially have someone now to do the calls with! I've asked Appen to extend my deadline past 11th November but haven't heard back.

Do you guys know if they are still accepting submissions for this task?

Did I read somewhere (on @Jon 's email?) that they are not wanting Scottish voices yet?

I wondered if I could ask those who have completed the task a few questions, please?
  1. Once you find someone to talk with (I'd probs use a family member), do you both have to use a phone to record the conversation on their platform?
  2. Does the phone call cost you anything to record (thinking about my phone bill!)?
  3. How long should the conversation take?
  4. Do you get any pointers on what to discuss? (thinking that I might not be able to think of an hour's worth of chat on insurance off the top of my head).
I'd be having to fit this in between kids' naps or trying to do it once they are in bed (and hopefully staying asleep!) so need to be as prepped as possible.

Thanks for any help!

Oh wow, thanks. That sounds handy to have in general - I'll take a look.
