I got a fine for driving in the congestion charge - which I paid but there was an error on their site - and now they are saying I didn't complain within 28 days and I have to pay a £195 fee! It's absolutely ludicrous on both levels.

Has anyone had experience with this and how to complain? I am so devastated right now!

How did you pay the fine that’s the most important

Once you have 5he proof you can contact the company there be details on the back of the letter, go from there

I only have my bank statement as i didn't get an email confirmation or a reference number. I've called them and had a rant so I'll take steps from there. I appreciate your feedback though!

That’s good yo7 have bank statement, may besirth contacting your bank to get proof from them, time, method of payment and then go back snd ask to speak to a member if mgt. x

In cases like this I always do a print screen of the confirmation page just incase the email confirmation doesn't come through.

Or take a quick snap of your screen with your phone just so you have something to back you up.

I did take a snap of the screen to prove it as evidence. I'm definitely escalating my complaint as far as I possibly can!
