Hi everyone.

I found this forum a few weeks ago while searching for ways to make money from home. There are so many scams out there and I just wanted to find ways to make some extra cash from home while i get myself a part time job. Due to exhaustion and stress, I am choosing not to work full time anymore.

I have already tried doing surveys (swagbucks was the worst, I donated the £2.00 I made), I'm signed up to redwigwam and i have been downloading ebooks and watching numerous videos on making money from home.

I am not interested in joining any more survey sites or selling on ebay and I seriously need to start making money immediately since my rent is due and I need to pay upcoming bills. I am signed up to temp agencies to get some part time work.

Any advice, help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Kind of recommendation: I have made £20 in approximately 6 weeks on panelbase . net.
It was a good site to use at the beginning but unfortunately I seem to get kicked out of a lot of surveys now. Good thing is they pay the money directly into your bank account.
Hi @orchidgirl

Fantastic to have you on here and posting!

As always the best starting point would be our 'Beginners Guide to Earning Online Toolkit' as you can make £1000+ a month from that alone which may (or may not) be enough for you depending on how much you are looking to make
https://blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/working-from-home-toolkit/

I would recommend
Risk Free Matched Betting - £600
Web Search Evaluator Work - £500+
Smartphone Task Apps (BeMyEye, Roamler etc) £200+
Tradtional Mystery Shopping £150+
Website Testing (utest/ WhatUsersDo) £100+

So actually that's around £1500+ a month ;)

Hi Jon.

Thank you.

I am just reading about matched betting now. The smartphone app (bemyeye) has such mixed reviews on the google store.

I signed up to redwigwam for mystery shopping jobs and I am also signed up to a couple market research/focus group sites like saros and people for research.

Forgot to mention that I made some cash on focus4people too. That was a long time ago but if you are selected it is a great way to meet people from different walks of life, chat for a couple of hours and get paid quickly. I was paid £50 for one and £50 plus travel expenses for another one.

I will have a good read of the toolkit today.

Don't worry about the reviews on Google Store. Click the 'Quick Links' option above and you can select the dedicated threads for various things (including smartphone apps!) and you'll see oddles of people do work for them all including the likes of @mabozza who earns £1000 a month from the smartphone apps alone!

That sounds ace. I'd love to go to Thailand but I'm too lanky for such a long journey :-(

Hi :) well I've only made a few pounds since the weekend from doing surveys and I've downloaded some survey and mystery shopping apps. Match betting seems like a good way to make a lot more money but seems slightly complicated to me, i'm awful with numbers haha. Going to join Appen today and see what they have to offer. Would you recommend anything else??

It's honestly not.

Reading about it can seem complicated though!

I would suggest you give the banner above a click and give the free trial a go. You'll make around £45 Risk free and see just how easy it is as you have your hand held throughout with VERY easy to follow videos.

Carry on after that or not is up to you but you'll have made around £45 so it's win / win ;)

I suppose the best way to learn is by actually doing it. Will give it a shot tonight and see how it goes.

Hi @Rachel89 i felt the same about matched betting but just take your time through the signup offers and you will understand in time. One year in and I still only do basic offers but make £300 per month with little effort and/or understanding!! Everyone on here is really helpful and you can ask as many silly questions as you like and someone will help out.
As well as Appen have you tried Leapforce and Lionbridge? Don’t be put off if they don’t always get back that quickly...it sometimes depends what projects they have in your location. Have a good read of as much of this forum as you can. It’s an amazing resource :)

Hi @Lizziew24 I think reading about it must be making it sound complicated. I'm going to give it a go and hopefully It should be easy to understand. Just browsing through the forums and everyone seems so nice and non judgmental. I will definitely be asking for a few tips if i get stuck.
I did apply to Leapforce last week but still haven't heard back from them. haven't looked into Lionbridge yet but that is going to be one of the next things I check out. Thanks for the advice :)

Make sure you say 'yes' to the options to receive future promotions/marketing offers as well as the reloads can be worth quite a lot. It's one case where you actually want them to spam you! Worth having a separate bank account just for MB as well so that it doesn't get confused with your household money (mortgage companies will look at your main bank account statement if you're applying for a mortgage/remortgaging and will ask questions if there's lots of gambling transactions showing but they won't care about seeing statements for a second bank account). Also do gamble aware! I'm a cautionary tale when it comes to the dangers of gambling addiction!

As long as you stick to just the MB offers that PA points you to though you'll be fine :)

Just wanted to say hi after a couple of years popping in and out of the forum. TBH I stopped coming here when the Matched Betting threads started as I was MBing years ago (from the the green site forum) and ran out of bookies to sign up with

So, for the last couple of years I have been concentrating on my football blog and football merchandise website (I won't link to them as I don't know whether that would be breaking forum rules).

Over the years I have done quite a bit of online working but I mainly just work with Appen as and when they have projects available.

Looking forward to getting more involved in making money from home!

Hey @leighc10

Fantastic to see you posting!

Don’t forget there is LONG TERM money to be made from matched betting with daily reloads, horse refunds, accas, price boosts etc which is the reason many of us on here have been earning from it for years!!

Your football merchandise site sounds interesting. Are you making the stuff yourself or using a site like cafepress to design them and then selling them on eBay?
