Ok

So basically want you want is something that can be done ad hoc but doesn't involve going out and about or anything too stressful.

Yes that's right.

Do you have any craft or IT skills that you could sell for £5!
a time on sites like fivesquid http://www.fivesquids.co.uk

Have you looked at sites like Valued Opinions or Opinion World. Easy £20+ a month using those.

Thanks, I'm with Valued Opinions. I'm 50p short of getting an Amazon voucher. I'm not sure if I'm with Opinion World or not. I'll have to check. I think I need to be more organised in some way because my days doing this seem too long and I miss surveys because by the time I get to emails I'm too tired or they've expired.

I think I'm probably wasting time faffing about. We are in financial dire straights so the little bit I can do to help is important. I know I could earn more if I did the crowd flower tasks on some sites. I've done a couple, but the first ones I tried were awful and put me off, all about which sentences descriptive or reflective and having to put an explanation why. Then I tried some others and it turns out there was error. ???

Those sentences on CrowdFlower are a killer aren't they! I managed a whole batch one night when I was working towards a target, but the next time I tried I disagreed with their opinion on whether the first sentence was descriptive or reflective so I immediately signed off in a huff!

Did you get the task with the search terms that only provides three terms when you have to put four in the boxes?!

Yes I did. I thought it was me doing something wrong, but I did contact them and it was them . I'd only done 1 successfully at that point. I've managed 4 so far today, all investment ones. I don't think I'll do the sentences ones, at least not for now. I had an issue with it saying right near the end that I wasn't working on a task. It turns out the orange bar isn't that reliable and sometimes you have to click it again. What a pain!

Hello OrganisedPauper,
Welcome to The Money Shed. I live in Leeds and work from home with three projects. As a Phoenix Trader I supply greeting cards, gift paper, invitation cards and colour in posters to a growing local customer base I also have a few national customers and some that order on my website. I am also a Thrive Promotor, promoting online the benefits of natural health care products that Thrive produce using new technology. I am also helping my partner Andrew promoting Neal's Yard natural and organic skincare products.
I was until recently a DS Drop Ship Prospector but have decided to leave that, as I was a little uneasy with the way the company is run.

Now I don't know the first thing about this sector BUT

is there a market where you could sell these to Independent restaurants (am thinking all those ones by the flying pizza near roundhay) so they can give them to kids to draw in while waiting for their meals. There must be 100s of independent restaurants who would bite your hand off to offer a more kid friendly atmosphere in their establishment

I was starting to feel uneasy about it. It was going against values that I believe in such as honesty. Basically at DS you are copying items that are on sale on Amazon, pasting them on to EBay and sell them at a higher price than the person selling them on Amazon, the problem I have that the person selling the item on Amazon has no idea that I was selling their product on EBay. Also if a customer buys something I listed on EBay but turns out it has already been sold on Amazon, DS teach us to lie to the customer. Explain that the product was faulty.
Amazon and EBay are aware this goes on and happy for it to do so, but I think it is dishonest. I do find with many American Opportunities they lack the sort of ethics that we Brits hold to our hearts.

Hiya - Would love to hear about what it's like working for Leapforce/Lionbridge. Maybe make a new thread and tell us all about it (although I think there may already be an existing one if you do a search ;) ).

Working from home permanently - Easily doable, just depends how much you want to earn.
