Thanks for the encouragement, I am going to give MB a go. It is the Tax free part that is the incentive.

Hi, just a quick hello *waves*

I found TMS whilst looking for ways to make extra money..... I desperately need a new laptop. I've got my eye on a MacBook Air ;D

Like someone further upthread (sorry I didn't note the name) I'm 54 and recovering from my second bout of cancer. As my pension moves further out of reach and my old business had to be closed during treatment, I'm looking for ways to never have to go back to the 9-5. In fairness, I've been s/e for 12 years so I'm used to fluctuating income and sooooo over being told what to do!

I have short, medium and long term plans for sorting my financial future

Short - Match Betting, prolific academic, leapforce and other online opportunities I might be able to work with
Medium - A blog, not set up yet but an idea growing and I think a niche
Long - Am studying again and hope to become a counsellor. Seems I'd be able to do that when I'm old and knackered before I get my pension

Lovely to meet you all and hope to get to know you better JB

Hi everyone!! I am trying to earn some money from home as I have kiddies to look after. I used to do a fair bit years ago but stopped and am re-starting. There has been big advances since I stopped such as using apps etc. which is very exciting.

Hi another newbie here and not a clue what I am doing! I have recently resigned from a very stressful job and plan to have a total career change.

After Easter I am going to start some home study and have a job one day a week. In the meantime I would like to earn money from home as I have 2 children and some time restrictions.

Ideally I would like to be earning £1,000 a month but know that is a tall order for working from home with a less stressful work/life balance. I have already signed up to Red Wigwam, although a little concerned at having to upload passport details.....

I am a little uneasy about matched betting and trying to do some research - surely it can't be that easy to earn! I wondered if it is morally right - so struggling with this one.

Any advice from any of you lovely earners would be much appreciated. As you can gather I am very sceptical about giving personal info out online. Frightened to death of a scam and ending up worse off.

Working my way through The Money Shed and Katykickers at the moment :)

Hi [member=3509]smudger1809[/member]

Great to have you on here!

£1000 a month is easy enough to made. Check out our beginners guide toolkit, an easy £700-£1000 a month can be made from that alone

http://blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/working-from-home-toolkit/

Matched Betting is nothing to worry about. It is 100% legal and there is no moral issue around it. It's been covered my major news publications as well

http://www.theguardian.com/money/2010/jul/24/free-bets-bookies

and

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/money-saving-tips/8185280/Is-this-a-bet-you-cant-lose.html

Trust me, I wouldn't have anything on here that was untoward

Many of us make £1000s a month doing it and best of all it's all TAX FREE.

Click that Matched Betting banner above and give the free trial a go. It won't cost you anything and will make you £45 and you will get an idea of just how easy it is!

[member=1]Jon[/member] and [member=920]katykicker[/member] wonder if you can answer a question for me. I have just signed up to the match betting and have placed my first bets (with £5 deposit in both Betfred and Coral). However, I am a little confused with the amount of money I need to place in Betfred for the second round of betting with my £20 free Coral bet - If I have to have a certain amount in my account to place the second bet do I get this back? Following the Profit Accumulator video it shows they have had to put £100 in the BetFred account to place the bet - how or do you get this back as the profit is only £16. Am I missing something here?

I assume your mean BETFAIR and not BETFRED

that aside

You put money in the exchange (betfair) to cover your bet at the bookie (coral)

If you win at the bookie (coral) then the money comes out of your exchange and into coral

If you win at the exchange then you lose your stake at the bookie (Coral) and your winnings end up in the Exchange (betfair)

During the qualifying bet you will ALWAYS make a loss of a few pence

it is during the FREE BET that you make your money
