Hi I’m Karen I’m disabled and unable to work I would like to earn money so me and my husband can buy a caravan and see more of Yorkshire
Hi Karen

Fantastic to have you on here and posting!

That's a lovely dream you've got there with the caravan! I live in Yorkshire myself and often wish I could spare the time to explore it more (mainly in the summer when it's less cold!!)

Hi all

I stumbled across this site, I’m not even sure how I found it but I’m so glad that I did.
I have a 5 year old boy and a 1 year old boy. My husband works 9-5 mon-fri and I work part time in the evenings when the boys are in bed. The change from going full time to part time so that I can look after the kids really affected our finances and I’ve decided to roll my sleeves up and try to help as much as I can. So when one boys at school and the other is sleeping I’ve made it my mission to try and bring some money in. I was unsure at first but finding this site has really filled me with confidence that it is actually posssible.

Hi, my name is Emily! I am a working graduate that likes to earn money on the side. I have been an active lurker on here but decided to make an account as I am trying to start a blog about my side hustle. First time making a blog so I'm happy to find a lot of information on here from people, just nervous how to start it and gets views.
Lately I have been trying to earn through selling crafts, doing surveys (Prolific only) and teaching English. I have tried many methods on here but most of them are not for me - such as small paying surveys and Appen/LB/LF as the communication is really bad

Thank you for the links! I will be sure to go through them!
Also, I was wondering, would it be better to host straightaway, or wait until you have more of a build up? I'm just worried if I pay and then no one is interested haha.

Well it's less than £2.99 a month

I spend that on lunch each day at work lol

You have FAR more control with self hosted than using a free one and then having to migrate it all over later

Hi all
I love the site, really informative so have now joined. I have 3 children (2 primary age, 1 pre-schooler). We have just moved areas so I left my last job (in nursing) and I want to wait til my youngest is a little older before going back. I have joined prolific academic and really enjoy the surveys, I have made about £20 in less than a week too! I also joined swagbucks but don't think I will continue with that.

I plan to do some match betting and write a blog. I love writing so will do it for that reason alone and if I make money along the way that's a bonus. I also have lots of questions about other money ideas I have looked into so looking forward to using this forum.

Good luck to all the other newbies on here.

Hi, I'm Mo.

I love savvy money spending hacks and loyalty rewards such as Nectar points and cashback. I have three amazing children who keep me busy and they are starting to get the money saving bug too! We use apps such as Shoppix, Receipthog and Jobspotter on a regular basis. They are just a bit of fun really. I'm a bit bored of surveys but still do Prolific ones as they are sometimes really interesting. I had hoped to start a blog and bought a domain and all that but I find writing lonely unless I get a response or some sort of engagement. So instead I am exploring other digital means of making an income.

You all seem such a friendly bunch, I look forward to learning more from you.

Hi @Momama (or Mo :))

I wish our kids would get the money saving bug too - that might be a good blog series for you - I'd love to know the trick behind that.
Yes, a very friendly bunch on here, all willing to help.

This site / forum is fab! I have downloaded so many task apps / survey sites that I would never have heard of if it wasn't for TMS.

No real trick-my lot are 8, 5 and 3 and generally like having permission to take hold of my phone. Good idea about the blog post, I'll add it to my blog idea's list.
How old are your kids?

Hi everyone!

I’m a stay at home Mum, with 2 children aged 6 and 4. I’m looking at the different ways to earn some more money from home and came across this website a few days ago and got signed up - it’s been really helpful so far so thought it’s time I join in on the chat.
Just started Match Betting today so will keep you updated how that all goes... dabbling in the paid apps and online surveys too, to see how they go. Nice to meet you all...

Hey

I’m Lynsay and new here. On top of the daily grind I blog here and there and love earning a bit extra. Have just got into a ‘debate’ and someone bet me I couldn’t clear off credit card debts using what I make online. Well.. challenge accepted!? Though to be honest I don’t have a large cc debt but it’d still be nice to clear it off.

I have 6 months to win (£1500 debt). I’m willing to do anything (within reason!) and while scouring the net came across this site. Suggestions welcome :)
