The issue you’ve got is that you’re pretending to be those people

Yes they might be aware of what you’re doing but You’re creating accounts in their name and entering banking details in their name while agreeing each time that the person who is making the deposits is them and not you.

Oh I totally get that

And so do they, I'll basically be running THEIR accounts for them, and they will be paying me for doing it, although they said they don't want any profits I'll certainly be leaving them with some purely for allowing to do it :)

Hiya!

Fantastic to have you on here and posting

Great to hear you are already off to the races with surveys

I would suggest you read our beginners guide to earning online toolkit as you can make easy £1000 a month from it alone which should help cover the redundancy shortfall
https://blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/working-from-home-toolkit/

Redundancy honestly sucks so I’m really sorry to hear you are facing it at this time of year!

Not the most stable of times Jon but somehow I guess we've all been there and survived .... signed up to Market Force and did my first mystery shop yesterday. Paid £4.25 plus reimbursement of any purchase up to £5, so stocked up on Radox (5 bottles - special offer of 98p) so that will save £5 off the grocery bill at some point. Have another one to do on Friday that pays £15. Also signed up to BeMyEye and earned £8 for a task that took 5 minutes. Delighted with that so although small amounts I am up and running. Don't mind working hard - every penny counts at the moment. Creative financing is what I am working on at the moment .....

Hello all

My nickname is Lizzie - I found this site a few days ago and am really impressed, everyone seems so nice to each other! :)

I work full time but have a credit card I want to bin, and also would like some extra money for 'fun things'.

I really want to try matched betting but it looks really scary (as well as amazing) and I have loads of questions about it which I'll post on the appropriate thread.

I'm already signed to:
Populus Live - constantly screen out though but I'll persevere.
Panelbase - have made £15-odd over the time I've been with them, get screened out on loads but do manage to complete a few.
My Survey - hit and miss but I have collected a few vouchers over time.

Just signed up with:
Roamler - just done 2nd task, hopefully it'll be accepted.
Receipt Hog - looks like it'll take a while to get a reward but as it requires next to no effort I'll stick with it.
Prolific Academies - Have done first study for 25p, waiting to hear if it's accepted.

Thinking about MintVine.

Sorry for waffling on, I'm looking forward to good times ahead :)

Hey @JLizzieB

Fantastic to have you on here and posting!

Looks like you are already doing well with a lot of stuff so that's great to see.

As for Matched Betting, it's a fantastic time to get started with it all as we are just over a month from the Cheltenham Festival which is the most profitable week of the year for anyone doing matched betting!

I would say click the banner above and do the free trial. You'll make around £45 while having your hand held throughout and will see just how easy it is. Sometimes over reading stuff can make things seem far more complex than they really are I find and it can be best to just get on and do it and then it helps things become second nature.

;)

Thanks Jon

I will get into matched betting but I need to get the 'starting' amount' together first and be a bit more confident :) Just about to head over to that section to post what I hope isn't a too thick question :D

Hi all, I'm very new to this world of earning money online. I left my job at the end of last year after 35 years in the corporate world. I was made redundant but was happy to go having decided it was the right time to make a change. I would still like to generate some income but, when it comes to the 'work life balance' I now want to be more towards life and less towards the work. So I decided that until I know what I want to do when I grow up I would see if I could earn anything but at the same time be totally flexible in when I work.

It seems like most people I started off by filling in market research surveys. A couple of the sites have been entertaining enough to pass the time but have not exactly brought me any riches unless you count a couple of Amazon vouchers. I have now arrived at TMS for my next lesson. I have spent a couple of days reading through the posts and I think I've started to get a feel for what might be out there. So if I can summarise I think I have identified the following types of online earning. I have not looked at Smartphone work I have only considered PC based work at the moment:
Market Research Surveys eg Global Test Market
Academic Surveys eg Prolific Academic
Secret Shopper eg Market Force
Crowd Sourcing eg Lionbridge
Matched Betting eg Profit Accumulator (I need to put some time aside to get my head around this one)
Paid to Click (Not sure what this involves yet)
Freelance work eg Freelancer
Creating a Blog (one for further down the line)

I now have a few questions about the above:
1) Have I missed any types of online earning opportunities off the above list?
2) I have looked at Freelancer and out of the jobs I've checked I can't see any UK bidders. I saw one project that I thought looked OK but 90% of 347 bidders were from India.
a) Are we in the UK priced out of all of the bids?
b) Is it worth spending time on Freelancer?
c) Are there any other recommended sites, I think I have seen Upwork mentioned?
d) has anybody had any success with online Freelancing work.
3) I have signed up to Market Force but when I looked at how much they pay I will be spending more in petrol that I would be earning. How do people make this type pay?
4) My gut feeling is that the crowd sourcing route might be my best bet. I can see from all the posts that there is Lionbridge, Leapforce and Utest. Are there anymore out there that people would recommend?

I think that's it for now.

Crikey that’s some top class research you’ve been doing there

In answer to your questions

1) I would say don’t discount smartphone apps. A guy on here told earning £1000 a month from then alone so there is BIG money to be made!

2) if freelancer jobs are paying below UK minimum wage then don’t waste your time on them

3) they don’t on their own. They tend to tie them in to other mystery shopping work but the reality is that they pay a LOT less for your time than smartphone apps which are in and out tasks without any lengthy reports to write

4) Appen

Hope that helps

If you have any other questions please just ask, everyone here wants to help you get earning as much as you possibly can for the time you spend doing it :)

Hi everyone,

I recently signed up in the hope of increasing my income.

I quit the industry i had my experience in to regain work/life balance and am currently working 12 hour days across 2 basic jobs. The money isn't good and I'm about to apply for my first mortgage, so this site is really important for me.

Expect a million questions from me every day

Hey, I just joined today. I started off with website testing and stuff like that...utest etc..that was a few days ago actually. Been googling ever since. Learning about all different kinds of apps and ways to make money. I found this forum through a post about how much people made..and it was nice to see it all adds up even if it's a little bit from each site. Anyway, hopefully will keep learning :)

Hello,

I'm looking for ways to make a little more money on the side. I have had some success with matched betting and surveys in the last, but looking to expand the places where I can earn a few quid. Very useful for paying some of the bills!

I'm also quite heavily into money saving too, so any way in which I can do this is always a good thing!

Looking forward to trying some of the sites and apps suggested.

Hi
My name is Mona I am 28 years old mother of 2, a wonderful baby girl and boy.
Obviously I really need to earn some extra money to cover our expenses and it's hard to do it with 2 kids under 3.
So I decided to try my luck with online work

Hey @Mouna

Kids sure can be expensive can't they, ESPECIALLY when they start hitting the school age so you've found TMS at just the right time ;)

Hi everyone. I’ve just started trying to earn a bit of extra money - just got a mortgage so every little helps right?! I’ve signed up for a few survey sites but i don’t seem to meet the demographic for most surveys. Ibe downloaded things like task360 & bemyeye but I live quite rural so not much going off around here! I’ve taken to receipt hog straight away - easy to use & no fuss. Hopefully I’ll start having a bit more luck with the surveys soon!

Welome LouLou. - as you're quite rurual have you looked at doing paid web search evaluator work for the likes of Leapforce/Lionbridge/Appen? Can easily make hundreds a month although it takes a while to get through the application process!

Hi my name is Laura, I am 34 and from Lisburn in Northern Ireland. I have three girls. Molly 10, Georgia 5 and Rebecca 3. I am a stay at home mum, while my husband works two jobs to support us as we can't afford child care.
I would love to find a way to bring in some decent money to lessen his burden. I sell Avon to friends and family but doesn't bring in much and do surveys.
I done match betting for a while, taking advatage of all the bookies joining offers but after that I didnt really understand where to go from there so I gave up.
Would love any advice for bringing in anything. Would love at least £50 per week.
Thanks for taking the time to read :)

Hi @Lauralou8410

After the sign up offer you would go onto the daily reload offers which bookies give to existing members. Which matched betting service were you using before?
