A mum on the run with kids trying to make ends mee
Hello everyone,
I am a mum on a mission. I have 4 bundles of joy ranging from 4 to 15 and when i say joy I really mean it. They are what keeps me focused and stop me from that downward spiral when things go a little wonky. Wonky happens from time to time but on the whole life is pretty good, happy and a little bit bonkers.
We as a family have had good times and a few years a go the bad times struck. Didn't see it coming and my god did it hit us hard. Having said that we now appreciate 'stuff' a lot more than we did before and I have to say it has on the whole has done us a favour. We are a strong family and you don't need to be spending heaps of money to have a good time.
A upward turning point for us also came along last May when we met someone who introduced us to Utility Warehouse. We became distributors and this allows me to work from home and fit 'work' around the kids. At first it was about just making 50 quid a month. 50 quid can make such a difference when things are pants. Its gone way beyond 50 quid a month and it has made such a difference to us already. Not only in terms of an extra bit of money but in terms of building my confidence again in talking to people. My confidence has grown and so has my friendship group as a result.
This mum is on a mission to get the best out of life without parting with too much money.
I don't wanna go back to working in the 'real world' I am happy working from home as and when I can. All in the comfort of my own home (or someone else's)
