I need to make at least an additional £1,500 per month. I have a milestone birthday tomorrow - the big six oh - and found a fabulous bargain to Vienna as my birthday present. (£447 in total, 4 nights 4 star hotel with breakfast, flights included. It would have been rude not to). It is my last holiday for a while and DH and I are off there on Tuesday but when I return on Saturday it is all hands to the pump. Can I do a diary '58 months to get my interest only mortgage only cleared? Whisper it.... the current balance is £202, 086.49

£1500 a month should be do-able but crikey are you going to have to diversify!

Hi everyone! I'm Emma and I run My Debt Diary :) I've only had the blog up and running since July so everything's still very new to me, but the Debt total is going down now that I'm focused and that's what matters! Looking forward to getting stuck into the Money Shed forums!

Hello

I'm new here. Thanks to everyone on the forums for the tips for apps to use to earn money. I'm about to sign up to Be My Eye. It asks for an optional referral code. Did someone benefit if I use a code from an existing user? If so, does anyone want to give me a referral code?

Hi everyone, I am a freelance copy editor working predominately for a company that provides web content to direct clients and agencies.

I have also been a freelance home-based researcher for a text question-and-answer service and have been employed by or freelanced for over 40 mystery shopping companies, both as an assessor and as a supervisor.

I am always looking for ways to increase my income, so am hoping to take advantage of The Money Shed's tips and ideas. :)

Indeed, it was AQA/63336. I made good money from it for several years; however, I didn't like the way the company was going when it switched the emphasis to 'Mystic Meg'-type questions rather than factual, hence the change to copy editing.

ah yeah, it certainly did when it went full Bongo. Those social media / Geordie Shore blasts were always SO POPULAR though which is why they probably went in the direction they did!

Hi all,

Clare here. Joined last night after getting engrossed in the different threads.
Much like a lot if other introductions that I've read, I'm looking to initially supplement my income. I've not long gone part time whilst I study and start to build my own business and if I'm honest, it's a little overwhelming to find out that I actually have loads of options to make some extra money.
As a complete newbie, I've signed up for PA and I really like this site. I'm looking forward to learning from everyone and hopefully getting to the stage where I might be able to contribute myself in the future. Many thanks all, Clare

Fantastic to have you on here and posting!

What business are you starting up at the moment then? I bet it's exciting alongside the overwhelmness!!

Hi Jon,
It is very exciting...the thought of being my own, being able to have the option to try new things out instead of doing what's always been done.
I have 2 parts to my plan. The first part is short term and this is starting an ironing service....may not glamourous but will hopefully see me through until I can get main main business up and running in the field of haulage compliance and bookkeeping. I am a bit of a compliance geek with a background of HR behind me lol. There really is no way to make any of that sound even remotely sexy but hey, it's definitely a niche

Hi Guys

I'm Fraser and I joined this forum a few days ago. I've spoken to a couple of you already and I've been lurking a lot as well. Thought its about time I introduced myself!

I was wanting my make extra cash over the Christmas period by working a second job but nobody was really looking for someone who can do the hours I can work. It would also be a hell of a lot of hours a week as I'm working full time already.

So here I am looking forward to seeing where this sort of work will take me. So far I found the few surveys I've done on Prolific very interesting. I'll look into this match betting stuff I think a bit further down the line. I've already signed up with a few bookies (I went through a stage where I thought I'd become a world poker champion playing micro stakes poker, cringe) so I won't be able to claim the new player bonuses. I'll read up as much as I can here before jumping in.

What I've made so far in 2/3 weeks not taking things too seriously

Job Spotter - £13.27 amazon vouchers
Swag Bucks - £5 amazon voucher
Profllic - £7.13 pending (from 2 days)

Looking forward to to getting stuck in on The Money Shed

Cheers

Not too sure yet, I'll need to sit down and properly plan. Maybe around £100 - £200?

Hi everyone,

This is a little reintroduction. I'm Zara, I joined about a year ago but was hit with some health problems which meant I put everything on hold. However, I'm feeling much better and ready to tackle making some money whilst I look for a job (having finally finished my PhD!)
