Hi guys,
My name is Ally, I live way up in the North of Scotland where there isnt much employment opportunities and I live with my fiance and my puppy.
My wedding is next year and I've tried a few things to earn some extra pennies; surveys, feedback, etc and have only gotten so far.
I'm hoping to gain my access code for Roamler as I've heard this is a great way to earn something extra?
Any other suggestions or are advice are totally welcome however :)
Look forward to hearing from you guys x
Hey Ally

Fantastic to have you on here and posting. If all you’ve done is surveys and other low paying work I would suggest you start with our beginners guide to earning online toolkit as they will take you earning £1000+ a month which might be enough for you depending on how much you are looking to earn per month

As ever if you have any questions please just ask. Everyone on here wants to help you earn the absolute most you can online!

Hi, my name is Jeff and from the North East. At the moment it would be nice to earn an extra £100 per month. I have watched many videos and read many websites but most of them seem to be trying to get you to sign up to their products or are just plan rubbish. I've looked into matched betting but them more I learn the more complicated it gets and also you seem to need to put in a lot of hours. Not sure at this moment where to start.

Hi @Daveyjnr

as ever a great place to start is our beginners guide to earning online toolkit. This will take you through earning £1000+ a month which should get you off to a good start

The Beginners Guide to Earning Online Toolkit (£1000+ a month)

In regards to Matched Betting, you are spot on that the more you read the more complex it gets! You are honestly best off just clicking the banner above and doing the free trial with Profit Accumulator. You will have your hand held throughout and make around £45 and see just how easy it is when you are actually doing it ;)

As ever, read the forum on here, jump in, ask questions. Everyone on here wants to help you earn the absolute most you possibly can!

Hello!

My name is Dean.

I've done lots of online writing over the years, freelance and niche blogging. I got into Bitcoin, earned some and profited from its price rise. Now money is getting short again and I am looking for new ways to earn!

Hi my name is Alex,

I've been at home a lot more recently caring for my father whose recently published memoirs have inspired me to take up my own writing, so this is where I'm starting. Obviously, extra cash helps and I'm keen to get out there with surveys and micro tasks, and to engage with this online community to connect with like minded people. Maybe blog about it (watch this space)

Hey @acompby

Fantastic to have you on here and posting.

If it JUST survey and micro click sites that you are after as that’s pretty low paying work and your time would probably be better spent doing higher paying stuff like web search evaluator work with Appen/Leapforce, website testing with utest or Risk Free Matched Betting

I always think you want to try and earn the absolute most you can in the time you have available!

Hiya

I've been looking at the forum in recent weeks and decided to join.

I've done some survey sites, it is slow progress but something is better than nothing. I'm hoping to do the MB but I'm looking into buying another computer. I have put a lay bet on at an exchange in the past but I paid twice and the horse won. They said it was something to do with my system (timing) so this seriously put me of using the exchange again. I was just dabbling. This was a while ago.

I'm needing a new computer. I've been reading the toolkit blog.

I'm new to the VPN (never heard of it not being a techy) and I'm not sure if I'd need to buy it twice, one for my mobile and one for the - to be .. new laptop. I tether my internet connection from my phone to my computer. Does anyone know?

On the computer side of things I've looked on Amazon (from the link) and the cheapest one is £190, hopefully I am looking at the correct one. I can manage to go more than that therefore I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion what is the best one to buy that is still within a reasonable price range? Hope that is ok to ask.

I'm also hoping to do youtube videos and I'll be starting out with a webcam. It's not to sell products, it's for a personal project but I have also been starting to look at using it for other things, just lately although that is not my real intention for purchasing (the to be webcam). The plan is to upgrade to a DSLR.

Therefore please keep in mind my intentions of my proposed Youtube Channel for when I buy the laptop.

Lastly, I really hope I've not put anything on here that will get me banned as I am genuinely looking for personal guidance.

Thanks for accepting me.

Hey Lily

I would honestly say you could buy any low end laptop for a few hundred for online work however I would say 2 things to note

1) Don't get a chromebook
2) Because it seems like you may be doing Video Editing you may want something with a bit of 'oomph' behind it.

I had a quick look and the HP Elitebooks are very good. This one is under £300

The above link is an affiliate one btw just to make that clear

That is fine I will use your link when I buy it.

Would I still be best to buy an external webcam (the one that everyone online appears to recommend) or would this do it all for me? I'm asking for video editing reasons but I'm no pro therefore I am clueless. Very much a learner but I'm sure I'll pick it up. Would this still have the spec that is needed for youtube videos for a newbie?

I will be back as I need to check over the mike situation ... cost etc.

Thanks for your help. Cheers.

It has a built in webcam but I would imagine an external one would offer higher quality.

Hi there!

I have been lurking for a little while and have decided, now I have a few days off, to properly setup a regime for making money online. My target is around £400 a month, but I imagine it might take me a little while to work up to this. I am in the process of registering for various apps (and doing the intro tasks) and making daily checklist through Wunderlist to make sure I cover all bases. So far I have:

Apps
  • Streetspotr
  • Mobeye
  • EasyShift
  • Roamler
  • Field Agent
  • BeMyEye
  • Shepper
  • Job Spotter
  • Streetbees
  • Click and Walk
  • Task 360
  • Spare5
Surveys
  • Respondent
  • Maru
  • Prolific
Product Testing
  • Testerjob.uk
  • fivestar ONS
Paid to
  • What Users do
  • Appen
Coupons
  • Checkout Smart
  • Green Jinn
  • Shopmium
Receipts
  • HuYu
  • Shoppix
  • Receipt Hog
Mystery Shopping
  • UK Marketforce
This is obviously a huge amount to take on, but my plan isto do my best and see what sticks. I am hoping, with a strong background in IT background, that Appen will really take off and allow me to drop a whole bunch of these.

I also plan, to give myself that first month boost, to signup to all the cards (Cleo, Oval etc) and bank offers (fineco etc) to get me over the line in May.

I look forward to working with you all!

Sounds you are already off to a good start.

Task360 is now BeMyEye btw, they sort of merged if that makes sense.

I would look into uTest as well

Apart from that like I said you seem to have a lot of eggs in your basket at the moment. I imagine as time goes on you will drop the lower paying working in favour of higher paying stuff as you come to value your time a LOT more when doing online work I always find!

Hi -

I've just joined today after following the money shed on Instagram since the beginning of the year. I am currently looking for extra ways to earn cash in order to pay down some debt! I had a go at some of the survey sites initially however found them to be quite tedious and knocked that on the head with the exception of Prolific and VYPR - I also do the odd YouGov survey as who knows one day I may meet the £50 threshold and cash out Lol

I also gave OhMyDosh a go in January and although I got a good pay out initially I have struggled to see how it can be a regular earner once the lightening deals have been completed?

I have recently started exploring the world of Mystery Shopping and joined BeMyEye at the weekend, I have also signed up to Respondent and I am completing the surveys so hopefully one day I'll be linked in to take part. I'm looking for more Mystery Shop / Market Research type opportunities.

Excited to learn of more ways to make money as ultimately we want to pay off the debt and buy our forever home!
