I won't be buying the 5 when it's released. I tend to wait until they bring the 2nd version out. I only really play Battlefield anyhow, so it doesn't bother me too much.

I love seeing the "console wars" every time a new console is announced, but I do have to agree, design wise neither are particularly inspired.
That being said, the hardware inside is pretty crazy and I'm expecting a massive price tag on these at launch. Precisely why I stick to PC gaming and can upgrade my computer as and when I feel the need.
I've got enough in my Steam library to keep me entertained for months.

I'm not even an xbox user but this pricing seems wonky
Allegedly one is capable of 1080p with dynamic 4k 60, the other one is going for stable 4k / 60 without artificial upscaling.
Typical console life is around 7 years so the xbox series S is going to be out of date within a few!

completed Watch Dogs 1 & 2 on the PS4 many moons ago, great games if you like a bit of stealthy action!
