Money Making Megastar!
I do understand that for the community to thrive you need active users who are posting the opportunities that they find. ;DJon@TheMoneyShed said:this is less to do with 'freeing up space' and more to do with the working from home community as a whole.
People tend to only find other opportunities because of other people sharing them, then they gain money from that opportunity. If I said to you 'have £20 for doing this mystery shop at tesco near your house' you would say 'thanks' back.
Plus if people have gone to the effort of making an account on TMS and just leech the information and don't post then if I remove those users we as a community aren't missing anything as they don't post anything anyway
However, I also think the information some of the more experienced users offer is fundamental to the success of TMS. I just hope these valuable posts are still just as easy to find if some of the less experienced users and lurkers all post their thanks when every new opportunity arises. (I know this wouldn't necessarily be an issue right now as it's still relatively easy to keep up with the forum, but maybe a few months down the line.)
I guess there is a balance between encouraging every user to post and ensuring the posts they make aren't spammy.
