Yay!

Just for anyone who has seen me on the green site this is a new, slightly improved, guide that I have written for TMS.

I hope it helps someone!

My fundings/purchases are $34 spent on my 2 years premium membership and the rest is helping others get discounted membership, which left me out of pocket sadly as all but 1 person basically never bothered with the site again.

I have 67 referrals, it states that 31 are active, but only 9 of them have been online in November. Most of them are not what I would call active at all! Still, I've made 10% of my money from that, so it isn't to be sniffed at.

Wow.

To save me looking through the guide you wrote (at the min - I will look at it when I have proper time), can you give me a basic description of what you do to earn on this please?

Surveys and tasks. I cherry pick the best paying ones only.

I only click the bare minimum of adverts to reach the daily bonus of 16% on top of my earnings.

That's nice of you. I usually help people get their premium membership at a discounted price of $10 instead of $17.

I have helped a few of mine with getting upgrades at a discounted price.

That is really good earnings.
Unfortunately not everyone who joins is willing to put the effort in and then people don't always appreciate the fact that you have paid or helped them to get their membership at a discount.

How does this site generate it's money?

Ad exposure?

Yes they have ads showing on the site through Adhitz which is also owned by ClixSense. People can purchase ad space then.
Also members can by PTC Ads for other members to click on as well as ad exposure on the AdGrid as well so that all brings in plenty of regular income to the site.

I'm sure they also make a generous amount on the back of all the tasks and surveys that are completed via their website.

This looks exactly like something I can do while stuck in bed nursing my tiddler. Does anyone know how well it works on a tablet browser? I noticed that websites don't have all the things enabled on the tablet (lack of Java or Flash?), will this make clixsense unworkable?

You can't view adds on an iPad. Clickgrid works on iPad.

You can complete some of the tasks as some need to be done on a mobile browser. I use a mix of both, complete majority of stuff on laptop, Clickgrid and some tasks on iPad. HTH

Layla has pretty much covered your question. Technically you are not allowed to view adverts from anything other than a PC (presumably a laptop too). This is copied from their FAQ page:

Can I use my mobile device to view ads?
You cannot use a mobile device to view ads unless it is Adobe Flash compatible. ClixSense requests that you use a PC to view ads. You may be able to use your mobile device to do surveys or offers but this may also be somewhat limited.

We plan on adding a mobile version of ClixSense in the future.

I have finally reached level 1 with Crowdflower :)

Looking forward to being able to do more tasks other than fisher investments. Hopefully now I've levelled up I can start earning more cash.

Do I need to make a new account with this crowdflower or does it take the details from clixsense? Also do you know if the radio works on a mobile device? Edit: answered myself, needs flash so doesn't work on a mobile device.

I have been waiting for a paypal payment from clixsense for nearly a month. Terrible site if you ask me, not sure how you earn $10 in under an hour either with each survey 25 minutes long?

I've never had an issue with being paid so send them a message.

There's a lot more to the site than just surveys and not all of them are anywhere near 25 minutes. A lot of Peanut Lab surveys are 5-10mins

If you've not been paid you would say it was terrible of course.

I've submitted proof of my earnings on enough sites for people to know I'm genuine.

Also, just because a survey says 25 minutes doesn't mean it is. I don't earn $10 every single hour and each $10 I make isn't always made in under an hour, then again I never proclaimed it was.

You ought to message them via their helpdesk, I've been getting payment from them for 18 months and have never had them not pay me. Perhaps you've made a mistake on your account.
