I got £90.00 expenses for the sleep study. I count it as income as I used my bus pass to get there and they provided meals. I have been promised £50.00 love to shop voucher for this one. If any one is interested it would be worth contacting your local university to see if they are recruiting. I know some people on here like prolific academic. The biscuit tasting was £5.00 but that was for half an hour eating biscuits so I can't complain. I just wish that fewer opportunities involved food.

I thought I had a very easy mystery shop on Saturday, ice cream tasting in a local supermarket - I mean how hard can it be. It did not start well, the hourly bus from our local bus stop which goes past the supermarket sailed past my bus stop without stopping which left me having to catch two buses and walk about a mile. Then when I got to the supermarket there was no sign of the ice cream or the tasting stand. I asked around and found the demonstrator who was now demonstrating a different product. She said that when she got there they only had six tubs of ice cream which quickly ran out and had none to sell. I am still waiting to see if they will pay me.

It is not my week another disastrous mystery shop today. The agency that handles my bank jobs were offering the few branch visits they have left in this wave for an increased fee as the branches are hard to get to. I took one today which involved three buses. One of the buses broke down and we had to wait half an hour for the next one. Eventually I found the branch only to be told that the entire system was down and I could not complete my transaction. I have to provide an ATM receipt as proof I have been to the branch so I tried to withdraw some money. The ATM announced that it was unable to provide a printed receipt then swallowed my card. I was not happy.

Oh gosh - sounds like a right hassle this week for you! Hope next week goes better!
