There's no real 'weekend' when you are earning online is there?

Well that's the weekend over with and I near enough worked a good 5 hours each day I recon.

Half of that I feel comes from 'time constrained' work. The sort of work that is around and you can earn money from it but you have to do it NOW as It won't be there tomorrow or on Monday.

I think if all I did was just work from home I would actually have a lot more time free in the evenings or weekend. It's because you try and fit this stuff around your regular day job or children that you look after in the daytime that you end up burning the candle at both ends

It's tough as you say.

Saturday I went out on my bike to do some Location checks for Field Agent and while I was out ended up picking up some Blade checks in the same areas.

Ended up earning over £50, so worth it in the end

That's it exactly. It depends what sort of work you are doing, but now that my kids are at school I try to do the bulk of my work between 9am and 3pm. There are times where I have a rush project or something which needs to be done at the weekend or in the evenings, but I prefer not to work when the rest of the family are in the house - impossible to concentrate for a start with three kids running around. I find the time when I really can't work is 3pm - 7pm as it's the after-school swimming, Brownies, dancing, having friends over time.

Having said that the kids are coming with me on a mystery shop for dinner tonight and they don't complain about that sort of working!

I definitely think it is all about the work/fun balance.

My husband is the main bread winner. This allowed me to quit a job I hated, working with people I detested, and the public who think they are better than you when you work retail.

I am now also able to shop smarter, do more home cooking, have more time to myself and generally do more things that I enjoy.

I balance that out by trying to work whenever my husband is at work, and a few hours on the days he isn't. We have a LOT more time together now than we used to and we haven't actually noticed a drop in our lifestyle partially thanks to a pay rise for him and also thanks to me earning more money online now than I was when I did this part-time and worked part-time. So in all it is good. We are not rich, can't afford every single thing that we want in life but we have lots of nice times together and if I died tomorrow I would know that I did what I could to have a strong marriage :)

That's great that you broke free from that previous and unpleasant existence, freeing up your time to work from home, be with your husband, cooking and finding bargains.

There's no point in being in any job that makes you miserable, but it's not always easy to walk away if you need the money. Good on you and I hope things continue to thrive for you both offline and online :)

Thank you.

It has been hard at times and I gave it a go working for myself before, for six months, and then chickened out and went back to work.

This time it has been over 18 months now and I hope to never go back!

I need to pull my finger out and devise a plan of action cos I am absolutely knackered what with college, placements, 63336, other bits and bobs of online work, looking after kids (and dog and Mr Queen who is having another op in a few days), sporting activities & helping out with those..................

Sorry, just wanted a moan :)

I try to make sure I have the weekend (or at least 2 days a week to myself as the husband often works one weekend day), last weekend I noticed that I missed out on some stuff but it was my own fault as I was sat at the PC but too emerged in the world of Draenor and levelling my Priest ;)

This week I am now suffering as I still have 8 edig surveys to do which I was hoping to complete in time for cash out, I took that football job from Jon and have a target of £15 on 63336 to meet (as well as housework, family stuff, making Xmas cards). Every time I start something non-63336 I get a question ;) I can't just come off 63336 as I need to meet my target,
