So, I'm seriously thinking about starting to wind down the blogging. Over the last 4 years it has become less and less important to me, currently sitting as a site I just throw cheap copy and paste work on to.

In September I start my PGCE so want to strip a lot of my online presence, for obvious reasons, with the biggest site being my blog. I know I could just keep it as a money-making source but I'm fed up with the hassle of email after email offering me $5 pieces of work. I just want to be a normal, non-self-employed person.

Part of me just wants to hit the delete button but another part of me is sad that the last 8 years will have been for nothing if I do - but I highly doubt anyone would want my domain. It's not like it's niched and I don't feel my post quality is all that great. It's on Mediavine, making a few quid each month and a LOT MORE if there is a TopCashback Giveaway - which there hasn't been since Xmas.

I'm honestly not sure what to do...wwyd?

If it's earning you a passive income each month through mediavine why not just stop taking on new content and let the thing wind down while still bringing in some money for you

It's bringing in less than a single Fat Joe post per month

A PGCE is pretty full-on and if your heart is no longer in it then I would just go ahead and delete it. Alternatively, is there anyone you know who might want to take it on and share the income?

Its had a good run, I'd say its time to wind it down and delete it, unless you can fins someone to take it over. Honestly, you will need the time to concentrate on the PCGE, and your spare time you will want to be spare, not spent uploading blogs.

Thanks all. There is no one to really take it over, the only person I'd trust with it is the husband and he's starting his PGDE too.

Time to start winding down - maybe one last blog post before I go :)

Starting my blog felt overwhelming because I knew it needed something special to stand out. I figured videos would make it more interesting. I chose to share travel stories and wanted my videos to look good. I used Movavi Video Editor from https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/free-video-editing-software-for-mac.html to help with that. It was super user-friendly and had everything I needed to make cool videos.
