I signed up on my laptop using the banner above and a little green box appeared saying
“Code added!” I then continued to fill in the form and was told to download the app and continue my application. Which I did. After I had finished everything I wondered if the code had automatically been applied on the app. I couldn’t find anything to say it had so I left a message on the Support /Messages section asking them to confirm that the code had been accepted. A reply said that there might be delays in response time as they are slightly busier than normal. I bet they are. That was three days ago. I tried again yesterday and so far I have heard nothing.
You do have seven days to request the code be added if you don’t think you did it originally.
Another thing I found was when I tried to pay my £1.00 from PayPal there was no option, when linking a bank, for Tide. So how do I use PayPal and Tide in the future I wonder?
I then tried to pay using Monzo. Monzo was not happy with me and kept flagging up not recognised warnings, scam alert, scam alert. Which is okay as it was just doing its job. I ignored these, as it was just a pound, and my payment went through to Tide.
Now I wait.
