Morning folks,
I've been grappling with Title tags, H1, H2, H3 etc, trying to optimise my site.
Currently using the Customify theme, noticed that the page title tag seems to insert H3 settings in to the H1 on-page title.

The HTML says:

< h1 class= "title entry-title H3" ...</h1>

So, the H1 on-page title looks small compared to the H2 title just below it.

Can't see a way to change this. I wonder if this would impact on SEO? It's driving me mad.

Can you give me the url of a page where it’s done this

Damn! I'm an unofficial IT geek :). Just amended a line in the single.php code of the CSS.

I tell you what course has REALLY helped me with all that stuff and as ever is only £16 from udemy but it's a great web development course by Colt Steel which covers HTML, CSS, Javascript etc and i've learned SO much and actually been able to practically put it to use on my sites!

The only drawback is now, it's sorted the H1 size, but I have to change the page header settings in each page header display to "default" instead of "inherit from customize settings". Unless I can find a way to fix that.

Must admit I know NOTHING about programming/web dev generally, but it kind of makes sense when making changes on a live website.

If you go into Wordpress > Appearance > Customiser (or whatever it is for your theme that lets you change how it appears) > Typography > Headings

Can you not change it in there?

else you'll have to go into Additional CSS and add
h1 {
font-size: 28px;
}

Think I've sorted it now. Cheers. Every day's a learning day.
