Going to start this off but not sure if it will stay alive

I feel like there are quite a few members on here who dabble in the crafts, some might make a point of spending their free time on it most days, then there will be others who will be using their skills to earn some money from it!

So here we can talk about our hobbies, share pictures of our work, ask for (constructive) critisism and maybe share news or events or sales that we hear of when browsing the internet.

I've created a board on my Pinterest account that we could all conribute to for a bit of fun and to share ideas and for those that sell online we can pin your stuff on there too, but I'll need to add you by username so let me know if you're interested! I'm Kelzky on there too

I'll get us started by saying that I've just got into doing crochet this is the fault of a friend of mine but I'm finding it nice to do sat on the sofa instead of feeling fed up with being pregnant and uncomfortable!

I'm just learning the basics at the moment but am quite proud of my little granny square ;D

Sounds exciting! I was sort of wondering since you were pinning a lot of wedding things as I didn't know you were getting married either! ;D when is it?

I'm getting some more crochet hooks today - I needed a bigger one to start a blanket I want to make

My hooks haven't arrived either my mum ordered them on her amazon prime so should have arrived today... but we've had no post today yet so maybe Mr Postie (in our case Trevor) is just super late?

Ah that looks great! I didn't get far with my practice cos I got fed up with it twisting - apparently I crochet too tightly! Then after 4 rows of my granny square I was like "I wanna spend time making something pretty" so I've jumped the practice and gone straight into trying to decode a pattern haha! I've also been watching numerous YouTube videos to try and get the hang of some of the stitches

My hooks arrived today - I've chained 131 stitches to start my blanket, I already feel that this project is too big haha!

I've recently started to crotchet and have managed a couple of granny squares and a sun hat which unfortunately turned out to be too small for my youngest - I think I might be pulling it too tight.
